They made less than £200,000 on fox and Dann you clown.
Last season the wage bill was 6 times that than one of the promoted teams.
Their problem is they haven't made enough money from the sale of players - on most they've overpaid and lost money.
As much as other league one clubs pay for their players.
Your absolutely correct they were "undisclosed", but then again you are arguing with Grendel who makes up things to suit his own stance. Good luck on that front!Grenduffy....I thought they were "Undisclosed fees"?....Sorry, I forgot your "Estimated facts" again, "silly me" you Troll!
@ cochese..... at THIS level they are. none of those 3 are Championship quality imho. If they were, they would be there now....Leon Clarke nearly 29, has had 14 different clubs up to now....Franck Moussa 24, 6 different teams, none higher than Championship level (Leicester 8 apps) Fleck 22, Rangers (41 apps in 5 years) That's right, 41 apps in 5 years! Blackpool (7 apps on loan) and he still can't last more that 55-60 mins of a game......So if that's "Decent" to you, then carry on mate, coz it isn't decent to me.
None of our players were sold in the last transfer window because no offers were made. Simple.
Sheff Utd offered £500,000 for both of our strikers. Both worth at least that. I was as surprised as SISU and the majority of us all that they never came in with a better offer.

Careful, you're getting awfully close to being pro SISU there..
Clarke has six this season already including the winner yesterday. 15 last season. Decent enough for me.
So you won't moan when they sell our best players to meet Financial Fair Play. We will have the lowest budget in the football league and should expect to be relegated in consecutive years after this season.
Pretty sure SISU are not failing. This is one investment of many. And I'm not sure it is taxpayers. None of your tax money goes to the club or SISU. Don't really understand that argument.
I also assume you would be happy for the club to be liquidated if SISU decide they cannot sustain the losses and see no other way out.
Its a taxpayers asset your advocating being given to a hedge fund.
If sisu are not failing I'd hate to see them when they are! They dont have a clue.
Who have we sold at a loss?
And here come out the normal lines to take the thread away from SISU not doing a good job with us and not being trustworthy, and the facts are available if you would like to disagree.
If you were both able to read and then understand what you have read you will see the majority are not pro ACL but want what is best for our club. And to just hand them the Ricoh would be so wrong. But just carry on chatting shite. It seems all you are capable of.
No. I'm advocating the football club BUYING it.
ALL got on free and will be sold for profit into SISU pocketsLeon Clarke
Frank moussa
John fleck
Are they not decent?
How do you think SISU are not failing when they take over a firm with 15,000 paying public and end up with 1,600 customers.
Firms will be lining up to buy the club with no debt.
They are failing at running a football club but this was in response to someone saying they were a failing hedge fund. Please read carefully before replying.
Joys price or a proper price though?
They are a hedge fund that have made a loss the last two years that they have released audited figures. This is a failing hedge fund.
But that is exactly the point. There can be no safeguards in a sale of a Freehold estate. To be clear, I think SISU are doing a terrible job. But remove them from the equation and the best thing is for the club and the stadium to be united.
I agree that there need to be safeguards.

everyone would like to see the club own the ground, but 1st you need to define the club. sisu is not the club, otium now is. so should the sale go ahead it needs to be to otium. the council also need to place some sort of clause on the ownership of the ricoh that the club (i.e. the golden share, players and coaching staffs contracts) always rest with the same company that own the freehold. so if shitsu did move the ownership of the ricoh the club would have to go with it.
can you ever see shitsu agreeing to that, i would be shocked if they did.

In my opinion they should never be given the chance Tony.
:blue:
Lets hope you are right. We will of course be in non league with no stadium.

It's either buy the Ricoh or end up in a 12,000 seater stadium NEAR Coventry. I assume you prefer option 2?
I would expect it to be an asset of Coventry City Holdings Ltd. personally. I don't think they have ever suggested buying it under any guise other than the football club.
