If he's still here (2 Viewers)

Would you be happy if Leon plays Saturday? Obviously we don't have many options up front but his head is elsewhere. He will be playing not to get injured.

Let me think ... the league's highest goal scorer ... even if 80% effort ... he's better than anyone else, striker wise, we have at the moment ! So YES

I said in Facebook this morning on the League One banter page that should Leon play Saturday at Preston then every fan needs to back him and support him as we did at Barnsley, as we did when he first signed. If we get on his back and boo him it could make things worse when it's not dead certain he will leave, but yes to have the leagues highest score leading the line would be fantastic.

Yes. Leon is a City player. He will always give 100%. He has been a star this season, a star in a season full of crap off the pitch but full of wonder on it. Would you want to work for a company that won't honour its bills, (Even to a charity FFS) If no, then why should Leon?

He is 28, getting to the end of what is a short career, he has every right to try and optimise what time he has left. I hope we give him 100% support whilst he wears a city shirt, that way he will be at his best.

Leon is a complete nob and always has been.

However, if he gives 100% in a City shirt of course he should not be boo'd. I just doubt if Pressley will start him this week.

Of course he has every right to optimise his career but if he had at respect for the club or the fans he could've waited until the end of the season. We've just lost Wilson for months, he knows we're not too far from the play offs and he even said a few weeks ago that he wouldn't let the transfer talk get to him and if the club accept a bid then it's out of his hands.
Well when no one bid for him he forced the issue. I don't think it would've harmed his career that much to wait to the summer.

Providing we don't have to carry him yes but only SP knows that.

I don't think with the size of our squad we can pick and choose at the minute though

Just seen him doing to school run. No signs of an injury, so if he doesn't play it will either be because he just doesn't want to, or Pressley has told him where to go.

Of course, he's the best striker in the league. And we don't have any others to choose from. Not the toughest of decisions really.

He's the best striker in the league when fully committed. Take it you've never played football

When I play a game I always want to win and always give 100%.
If he is on the pitch and likes playing football he will give 100%.

The problem comes if he has a few off moments, will the crowd start to get on his back. If they do then he'll probably say fukc it and also want to leave the club.
Difficult as it may be for some and because his leaving is not 100% we should back him during any games he plays for us.

Remember Liverpool fans with Suarez, they cheered and shouted his name when he wanted to leave. He stayed, and look how he has repaid them. Not saying Leon is Suarez, but he is the best goalscorer in this league by miles. I say we do they same, chant his name, cheer him on. Even if Leon does go, we need him for the short period till the end of January, some vital games ahead. I'll like him to stay till the close season, then if a reasonable offer comes in, an and he still wants to go let him.

Well, if you're suggesting starting with Jordan Clarke up front again is a better option then I would question whether you've ever even watched a game of football, let alone played in one.

I must admit ... I really didn't nor do still now, understand Elvis's idea of putting him up front that day ... he is to be admired as a manager and a coach and I am a big fan of his ... but that was a curve ball choice that lost me ... we were low on numbers that day and hence low on options, but seriously ... that was well weird.

It may help if you remember that he only wants to leave because of our owners.
