I would be urging them to seize the moment and release a statement along the lines of:

''Having noted the recent remarks of our manager Tony Mowbray regarding his frustrations around the playing budget, and in light of the recent positivity around the club and its supporters, the owners of CCFC have injected a further £50,000 into the playing budget as equity. We hope that this will enable TM to operate more freely in the transfer market, encourage supporters to get behind the team and perhaps begin the process of repairing our relationship with the club's supporters. PUSB''

This is a relatively tiny amount but would generate further season ticket sales, a better squad, a bigger turn out v Wigan and a whole bunch of good will. C'mon SISU, you know it makes sense!

Only equity Injection I'm aware of was £600K end of Sixfields season, relatively cheap considering all losses that season were to be met by JS's wealthy backers rather than mitigated down via player fees, cup runs etc.

FFS we are only a business to buy if we are in the championship near the top and have a squad capable or look like we could be in the promised land of dreams. Spend a few quid whilst we have the best manager we will ever get and do something.
We have wasps as landlords and lets be honest they arent in any hurry to buy us as we pay rent and get revenue from beer sales etc. Last throw of the dice for us I think as Sisu may get a few quid from the court case and fook off.

For the next legends day I'd send 3 or 4 coaches around the care homes of the city to pick up any CCFC Fans who live in them. Then I'd take them all to the game where they can meet some of the older legends they probably remember, give them a free pint and a programme and let them sit on the balcony for free (as I doubt that will be full). If there are 100 - 200 older fans there, their families will probably want to go so they will buy tickets and it would be seen as a nice touch.

I'd have Sky Blue Sam at the store every Saturday from 10am onwards (especially on home games) interacting with the kids and trying to get people into the shop to either buy merchandise or go to the game later that day. If you catch them early enough they can go and put their shopping away and then get back up to the game, do a couple of little competitions or something with some free tickets too so people will want to try and win them but if they don't win they might buy them and go up anyway.

I'd also try and hijack the FIFA launch they will have at GAME and Tesco where they are usually a few hundred in a line to buy the game too I'd open the shop up with a PS4 and have a couple of youth teamers there doing a competition on it or something.

Would cost them next to nothing and get them a load of free advertising, have fans vote for the player and that kind of thing. Clubs would be happy as they could sell the game and make some cash. Win win for me and very easy to do.

FWIW equity injections can be issued as shares. For a club like CCFC this might as well be non-returnable as we struggle to wash our face. FFP rules allow this sort of investment as there is no obligation on the club to pay dividends and clearly that isn't a loan.

Anyway, if I were the club PR I would lower the ST prices back to early bird until end of the month and pledge 100% of any further sales to TM with the extra 40% as equity...

If games are anything like music the retailer takes around 50%. Sure they would through the club shop so even if its only something like £5 profit a copy they'd sell a decent amount. Get whoever is on the cover to do a signing on launch day or something. It would literally only add a few pence onto the manufacturing cost.

SISU's PR....

Trust in Mowbray and gamble a million on earning 5 million by giving him the funds to sign 2-3 real quality attacking players and Joe Murphy.

As the signings happen announce an extension of the early bird policy on season tickets.

Put on subsided transport from several locations in the city for season ticket holders.

Go all out for one genuine push for promotion.

Give season ticket holders a set discount on all merchandise from the shop.

Do exactly what they are doing in terms of distancing SISU including JS a TF. The sorry saga with council from the club.

Making the club about TM and SW. I would try and push this further and Make it all about TM and his staff.

I would stay very quite over anything to do with legal action and new stadiums ( which there are starting to do )

But that extra budget to bring in signings creates excitement and personally I think it is an investment worth doing.

Whether JS could be convinced is another thing. She is desperate for the club to totally fund itself.

No it is a good aspiration. However I fear at our level it may mean been stuck here for s long time.
More teams gain success and promotion with the investment. There are not that many Norwich's out there.

So as a fan it maybe a false dawn but the majority seem to have a lot of faith in TM.
Maybe if he has us near say 10th or 9th by January that maybe the tipping point to convince her to gamble.

I don't mean break the bank just if our budget is classed as a top six budget to me that is sixth. Otherwise you would say its the third highest budget.

Why not make it a top three budget really increasing the chances of the playoffs

Not if all other clubs were run along similar lines. At the moment though it probably limits CCFC to no higher than a possible mid table Championship finish with plenty of good fortune.
