You what? Just Blu-tack one of your business cards to the door, that's an expense saving that could bring us in a great loan striker we'll never play.

Don't think that's fair to be honest, he will only influence the goalkeepers and the past few years we've been blessed with great keepers all of who have come good under Oggy's guidance. Need someone on the backroom staff who is a club legend, Mowbray talks about the club not having any signs of history for the players to see, and currently they have someone who has been there and done it for Coventry for players to look up to

For the life of me I can't remember where Westwood came from ? Put me out of my misery ..

Westwood wouldn't have got the big move if it wasn't for his time here tho. Ok it didn't work out but Sunderland must have seen something which you have to give some credit to oggy

You could also say that with burge look when he first came between the sticks this season to the end of the season, improved his game and performances game by game

out of all the calls i could make as the most important & 'first' a new manager should make.. that is the least likely / important or even valid ( in my opinion ) . Our goalkeeper has been consistentalty our most stable position for years, and its his only role in the club isnt it...

unless im missing something , about him bleeding us dry ( is he paid double the rate of other goalkeeping coaches or something ? )

Have you ever seen him coaching and seen him come in and do his job on a day to day basis? Or is this just an armchair theory you are trying turn into a campaign?

For the love of God!!!! why would you want to get rid of one of our most loyal people who has seen it and done it at the highest level. I did my FA coaching badge 3 weeks ago and part of that was run by a goalkeeping coach who was at City with Oggy coaching the kids...he said Oggy is fantastic with the keepers and the reason why we can attract the likes of Westwood and Murphy.

has he made our keepers shit? not really

mowbrays wants club to have identity and look to good history, oggy represents that so maybe mowbray will want to keep him

Oggy is a link with a past of complete mediocrity and non achievement. No room for sentiment. He's had 30 years here now.

Cant believe people are suggesting this, yet in same breathe say 'our club' has lost its identity and taken away from us. Get real, Oggy is a legend and must do a decent job as coach to never be moved. All keepers who have been here, whether they started well or not, have all improved and many gone onto bigger and better things. Leave him alone.

There is having an identity and having people around based on being here when we won the FA cup. Where do we stop?

To be fair, neither Murphy or Westwood have gone onto achieve much more have they?

Oggy's ability to coach keepers has absolutely no influence on the state of the club. Absolutely pointless getting rid of a club legend and experienced goalkeeping coach.

TM should start by getting rid of the deadwood like: Webster, Thomas (Conor), Barton and Finch. Not good enough for a team wanting to get promoted.

Westy named Championship keeper of the season. Would still be in the Sunderland team had O'Neill not stuck with Mignolet who is far far worse.

Is that Westwood who went to a premier league team, and now won player of the season for a decent Championship team. And we are...... oh thats right.

Where were we when he played for us? Championship wasn't it?

I have nothing personal against Oggy, I just think Mowbray should be allowed to have full control if he is going to be here. If he wants to keep Oggy then it is up to him, I just don't agree with him being here by default based on the FA cup etc etc.
