SISU Will never buy the Ricoh as far as I am concerned.
If they do - It will not benefit the club in any shape or form because all money made from it will just go straight back into their kitty.
They will see it as something to rebuff money not an opportunity for the club to bring in money.

I would imagine that hypothetically if they did manage to buy a share, the council or AHC would add clauses in the deal to prevent SISU selling it on separate from the club.

Yeah, given their track record I think SISU have there hands on the ground would be a bad thing. I'm sure that they would structure it in such a way that they could sell the club and keep hold of the ground, then we really would in the poo.

City Council will never sell their share to SISU (if at all), and they also have to vito any offer made to Alan Higgs Trust, so therefore I dont believe SISU will ever get their hands on any share in the Ricoh!
Plus, if they did they'd prob try and rebrand it the SISU arena
Out of interest, does anyone remember what deal RICOH signed to sponsor the stadium? Im sure it was a 10 yr deal. If so, Wont this be up soon??

It was 10 years, it was announced in 05, so we've got 4 more years of it being the Ricoh, then it could be anything

As it stands If they own anything it will be the shares in ACL and that company owns the long leasehold of the stadium. The council own the freehold. It will be the SBS&L Group that would own those shares most likely. The SISU funds own the shares in SBS&L not SISU
Also I dont think we can say the council would never sell to club their shares..... conditions do not match the criteria they set down now but that doesnt mean they wont in the future

Knowing who Waldorf is I trust his sources completely. It makes sense that if SISU can't come up with a credible plan then the council will not sell.
Strange that they can't though. Wasnt there a board member with ties to AEG who manage stadiums worldwide? Or did I imagine that?

Well it's a bit like planning regulations in as much that the letter of law must be adhered to or risk challenge.
CCFC has a contracted option with an expiry date. They just need to exercise it. The council can't simply argue the 'club' changed hands and we don't like the current ownership!
