That's certainly been the case since Ransom left. SISU invented NOPM.

It would be interesting to see a season by season timeline to see the level of players either releases or sold and who they were then replaced by...I.e Cranie, Keogh, Wood replaced by Jordan bloody Clarke, Webster and Seabourne. This must be a recurring theme since the season they began to sell Fox and Dann. Slyly but surely the wages and quality have reduced for us now to be left with youth team shit and cast offs from the bottom of the football league scrap heap. Yet still they are talked up about character and quality as if they are going to get us out of this league!

The club have been doing that since the late 90's and certainly it was far more evident under mcginnitys tenure.

What do you expect when the money in is significantly less than the money out? This has been going on for the last 11-12 years. A big factor is that too many bang average players get paid a shit load of money.

And who's fault is that?! Giving the likes of David Bell 5 year deals...it's too late now to start trying to make amends by doing things 'the right way'. SISU fucked up when they stopped investing and sold the crown jewels. The season we were relegated we signed nobody and had to rely on the fucking Tree for goals. And the money in now is significantly less than going out because why? Playing at that hellhole 35 miles away, thats why! 100% avoidable!! And now those stubborn arseholes (who don't give a shit about the thousands of fans currently without a team to watch nor the history they are destroying) are believed to be paying for a blow up stadium which will never happen.

I agree Grendel it has gone on since the mcginnity era but the past 2-3 years have been of epic proportion..surely you must agree?

More rubbish to sell season tickets but it won't matter who they sign I still won't go to Sixfields. I would think that we will be scrapping the bottom of the barrel towards the end of the transfer window.

Sisu have took this club to the lowest point in the clubs history, that can't be blamed on anyone else but themselves.. The situation they found the club in should of been looked at more tightly and with proper due dilligence done regarding the Ricoh lease. That was ,is Sisu's biggest error of judgement they were not interested in that then as it was a short term plan for a big gain.. They didn't want the a football club then, they don't want it now, they wanted promotion and a quick sale for profit... So past owners have some blame about the status of the club when selling, but the running of the club today has nothing to do with the past it is about the now, 7 years on sisu still are struggling with the concept of running a football club..

And with SP now seemingly towing the club line, fans will have to except a squad which lacks depth and quality will more and likely become reality. SP has no other option while still at the club in what he says, does, or plan's, he is tied to a budget that may even reduce before the season starts... The JR result may not change the owner or situation about NTFC but it will test the investor's patience about how long the security of the monies carries on..

My last ponit is simple if you think our past owners left Sisu in the shit, what are new owners going to find,, a brilliantly run club with assets, solid foundations and the most important a decent fan base!!!!..Who you going to blame then!!! look no further than JS door..

If you don't want the club to have a sensible and appropriate wage structure then the reliance on owners to inject funds will continue. Even when we were at the Ricoh what was the average crowd? 11/12k?? For now that's the level we would have to work to, even if we went back tomorrow. It might be shit but that's the reality of it.

You can't say "ignoring Sixfields, you can understand the wage budget" when the wage budget is what it is because of Sixfields. I don't think you'd find many who disagree with your point, but it's another example of why the Sixfields move was so idiotic and short sighted and needs to be changed now. Until then everything they do, good or bad, is tainted by that.

I understand SP has to say something, the club /manager has to give a positive spin but IMO SP looks foolish as we know his no idea of what budget he is working to until the JR is finished. As good a manager as he was last season's relative success was built on players already at the club the permanent signings were below average Webster & Seabourne, as for the loans it was a revolving door with Petraso Dagnall & McGuire being any good and they played about 15 games in total. Slager, dylan, Chuba, rory, slager, manset, Fonz came and went and were soon forgotten.

Wait for the actual signings rather than talk tosh but we will be hearing about the players leaving first

11/12k is a damn site better than 1 and based on the fact that the FFP is now in place we would be in a far better position to sign players, with the Ricoh a more attractive prospect than coming to a ghost town and one of the worst grounds in the football league.

SISU harp on about it being inevitable the club has access to all it's revenues, yet is willing to alienate the vast proportion of fans to the point of no return. Yes Timmy and Joy say they will fund the losses but what truly is the point when there is little or no hope of success for 3 years...no wait is it 5 years...whilst we build a stadium holding 12k. That'll get us a return on our investment which by 2019 will be in excess of £100m! Crock of shit chancers whose plan to make a quick buck backfired and they lost interest. It's as simple as that.

And no I wouldn't want to continue doing it in the wrong way but they have no choice no do they than to pay peanuts because that's all they're brining in. I wouldn't be surprised if we were soon sanctioned with another embargo or points deduction given their continual bullshit which the fools at the Football League managed to fall for!
