He hasn't proved himself as a manager. Took over a club in Burton where Clough and Rowett had set up the foundations and, sure, the wheels didn't come off... but his next job was always going to be key.

Now if he then 'fails' at QPR it's possible *that's* the blip, but I wouldn't be employing him just on the Burton reputation. It could be his next job proves him a good manager... or a bad one, of course.

And would you trust us to be able to judge whether he were good or bad?

He still got Burton promoted from league 2 and top of league 1 when he left. a great achievement

Also qpr of 6 pts of playoffs. so not like he was terrible at qpr

If sisu sold tomorrow would a new owner keep him on I think they would, why not, that's if he wanted it. He knows the players, signed most of them, knows the league, I would certainly give him the rest of the season and a little leeway at the transfer window but I doubt he will get that.
