Would you buy the club in an attempt to turn things around and how much do you think it would take.

Obviously you have the option of selling the club after

However much SISU would want plus about 20m to cover losses and bring in a few decent players until things were sorted and the fans came back. Then another 20m for some more players to get promoted to the prem. Then another 50m to get a decent prem side.

How much is the jackpot?

I would never spend it on football as its a waste of money. However, If I had no choice, it would probably be much easier and cheaper to start a new club and start a fresh then to sort the mess city are in. I wouldn't buy or play in the rioch either. Too expensive and big for what we need right now. I'd rather own a smaller Staduim that can be extended if needs be later on..

You wouldnt have enough to do much with the euros, you would need billions nowadays to do a man city!

I know if I won £6.90 I could buy David Bell.

And with the change I would buy a big tin of Cadbury's Roses and some AA batteries.

Assume £100m Euro lottery win

Think i would try buy an interest in the stadium first, say the Higgs Charity shares £8m , and perhaps option to buy the balance from the council £2m. Have a pot of money for further investment there £10m. Would give prospect of future income to the club, and prove commitment to the site which current shareholders look for.

That would leave SISU no where to go in terms of their ambition. Once they ran out of money then put club into administration I would buy CCFC Ltd and CCFC H Ltd, without taking on the debt owed to SISU, say £5m. Then build from there, but the club would have to live within its means, that includes a proper player budget, smaller squad and a new lease at the Ricoh........ but there would be a pot for player investment and for getting rid of deadwood, also to clear down any non SISU related debts £15m. Would put money into club as my shares of ownership not as a loan then sell at face value some of those shares to supporters.

Might seem harsh on CCFC but I wouldnt pay SISU a penny more than I had to............ the above would be far more sensible than saddling myself and the club with loads of expensive debt. Personal investment perhaps = ACL £20m CCFC £20m = max £40m

pure fantasy of course

Abolute cloud cuckoo land as always osb58. The equitised debt to SISU is over 10 times what you guesstimate - have you been following what has been going on at all?

Lets assume even hypothetically you get the 100mill, why would the higgs sell to a 3rd party who had no intention of buying ouy the club right out? The option if there is one would go to the incumbent i.e. SISU. The ONLY way the council/ higgs would consider, would be if you were going to take on the entire show. But even if you did win, would you get through the proper person test? Just because you might have the funds, it doesn't mean that you would pass!

But even if you did, and even if cov went into admin, the debt has been equitised to itself. They are in effect sole creditor! So AGAIN anyone wanting to buy the club would have to go through SISU! So you would have to negotiate with the biggest sharks around - you HONESTLY think you with your lottery win could out shark a shark?

The ENTIRE debt is around £50-60 mill to itself plus the rent to ACL!

Where you get this £15m other debt is beyond belief!

Where would you get a board from? Who would you choose?

It really is like lokking at a child trying to wish everything was better. "If I say this amount of debt"

What a complete waste of vittels you are. Go back to licking walls or whatever else it is you do and let the grown ups sort out the problem!

WHAT A FUCKWIT YOU ARE OSB

Be the worst investment you could make, paying generally thick morons to kick a bag of wind around, many of whom don't actually even do that.........a la David Bell. It would take over £100 million to truly sort the club out followed by more than you could afford after that to sustain it at a higher level. The heart may persuade you otherwise I suppose..............

Calm down.

The thread itself is based on fantasy...OSB winning the Euromillions is maybe less likely to become a reality than him being considered unfit or improper.

I'd just buy the Ricoh and try and get SISU to buy it for shit loads and if they don't buy it, just put loads of gigs on

Nick... can we have a sort of yellow card/ red card system for offensive posters... I mean we're all up for healthy debate but this sort of abuse is completely unwanted

How about a yellow card warning for first offence - red if it's serious and then a ban from the site for a couple of weeks so they can reflect on what they are doing

Just a thought...

I do hope those posting on this thread, suggesting investing any dosh in CCFC is a waste/bad investment, are not the same people slating SISU for not throwing more & more of their cash into the club.

I'll 2nd that.
There are some posters who sadly reflect the foul side in society - and despite publicity about arrests connected to comments/behaviour on Twitter &/or similar...they have the attitude of believing a. It's fun b. they can get away with being abusive online without retribution

Also, he has made himself even less likely to get any kind of hand-out should OSB actually win it!

If I won the Euro million!! I would simply go to the press and very publically accuse those prior to SISU who got us into this mess in the first place and tempt them to sue for libel, hire the best legal eagle in the business and bring into the public domain THE TRUTH

Must admit, I know it sounds bad but Coventry City wouldn't be the first thing that comes into my head if I won it. I would get a director's box and probably sponsor some games but that's as far as I would go.

Always had this idea of my buying players for the club, but owning them myself. Therefore a bit of a franchise thing.

Would give the manager £10m to spend on players but I would own the rights to any proposed sell on and receive any sell on fee.

The manager would also have to clear it with me before spending the money so we don't buy another Kevin Drinkell etc.

I'd buy it all with a 134million Euro's, I'd literally give the money to the fans to buy the club (would have a Dragons Den type of day to see who's worthy), I only need £10mill to last my life time and set the future of my children up, moneys not everything but our club is (for our sanity)!! :claping hands:
