Because its not available to UK users as far as I'm aware. Probably so as not to deter people from actually going to games. But for people outside of the UK it's a way for them to watch it. Disagree with it taking money out of the clubs pocket, it's more likely the opposite. I'd personally never use it as an alternative to going to a game, would only use it where I couldn't go. Frankly, I have no issue with those that have no intention of going using it either - it's all money into the club.
