Ok so it's been a decent start for Frank , we are worse to watch IMHO but we are efficient and it's 4 clean sheets in 10 games and it's 1.5 PPG

Has he had a relatively decent run of games , yes he has but you have to factor in that he's missing his best player and an in form EMC

I don't particularly like doug king , but I hope he backs frank over the next 2 weeks to a degree and gives him the tools to try and have a good end to the season.

Fancy us at Blackburn, and il be there PUSB

Was it @fernandopartridge who said there has been no new manager bounce at all?

Last 10 games says different. And that's excluding cup win too

He has got underperforming players such as BTA and JDS playing a lot better and justifying selection.

it's been a decent run of fixtures and I'd have expected a turn around anyway under robins which fans ofcourse may or may not agree with and thats fine .. but frank is the manager now and he in fairness has had to deal with the 2 now 3 big player injuries .

The fixtures are now about to ramp up a bit , it's a fair start and he has steadied us , which is probably the best description

And the football is probably a bit shit to watch more because we can't play our preferred system with our best players .

It's good to be pragmatic

Could have, should have been 20 plus.
Portsmouth should have been out of sight...if Dovin was in goal etc etc.

Coukda , woulda, shoulda.

Norwich...wont happen again. So yes been an improvement.

And yes football isnt great.

There is no new manager bounce, it's a narrow win at home.

All the things I said can be true and it can also be a good win. We had an xG of 0.9 today.

Major thing he’s done is stem the flow of goals. I like how he’s willing to give even loaned players a shot.

It's a decent return but it's been a very favourable run of fixtures.

Still a lot to do. If he can keep up that ppg for the rest of the season he'll have done a great job.

I agree about the fixtures , unfortunately it probably balances with us missing haji and EMC and now sheaf .

There's loads to do I'm just happy we've not capitulated really

Would of been an even better start if we could of hung on for 5 more minutes at Norwich.

I actually enjoyed the,way we played today.
2nd half and ET last week would get football banned but I actually thought today was entertaining.

Done a great job so far. He’s working with players that aren’t his pick and got major injuries to key players. If we had Wright and EMC for we would be closer to the play offs.

The league this year absolute dogshit. Lets be honest we have had a terrible season by our recent standards and yet only 9 points off play offs.

This season is a huge fuck up and huge missed opportunity.

5th and 6th place was there for the taking this season.

No point crying over spilt points now though. There has been some odd stuff written about Lampard which I don't think is fair-this was not the first job he was offered and he understands what's at risk if he fails here. If he gets us through the season unscathed things will look much brighter going into next season.

Are we worse to watch under Lampard? We’ve been pretty dire - by our recent standards - all season.

Agree with what you've said and I'll be there too, but the numpty on the phone in who said we always do ok at Blackburn, we last won in 2008 and I've seen almost all of them since! Wilson's last minute equaliser one of the few bright moments.

Really looking forward to seeing Wright and EMC back, with a couple signings to bolster the squad.

We are obviously lacking quality at the moment but cannot question the commitment of the players. Grinded out the win today.

Yeah was going to say the same, fine margins and poor misses have cost us. And like you say Portsmouth should really have played out differently. Can't help think that Bassette one on one chance was pivotal

Funny on the eye test as while some games we’ve looked awful style wise I think some like Plymouth and Hull was just as good to watch then some of our better games like Luton/Blackburn.

Will always be struggle when your best scorer and creative player is out, forcing you to play a more conservative shape to create the fluid football you’d want.

I agree re the style of football. I’m hoping that will develop with time because I really don’t want us going backwards in that regard.
