Ok so it's been a decent start for Frank , we are worse to watch IMHO but we are efficient and it's 4 clean sheets in 10 games and it's 1.5 PPG
Has he had a relatively decent run of games , yes he has but you have to factor in that he's missing his best player and an in form EMC
I don't particularly like doug king , but I hope he backs frank over the next 2 weeks to a degree and gives him the tools to try and have a good end to the season.
Fancy us at Blackburn, and il be there PUSB
Depends on your tastesAnd his missus is fit - Love a Northern Irish accent on a woman rather than a bloke yelling " Brits oight"!
Spot onThere’s a massive improvement in our team-the way we set up, the tactics and the way most players actually sticking to their roles.
Definitely an improvement (this season) than under Robins as well.
The reason why players are improving is because they are being coached properly-that’s Lampard and his back room staff.
Players are obviously buying into whatever Frank’s saying and team cohesion, commitment and confidence is positive.
We’re beginning to see the qualities of some of our newly bought players too.
Can only get better when injured players come back.

I am certainly not getting carried away JDS is still not great and BTA cannot control or keep the ball for the majority of times, he was aiming at one of the pigeons yesterday and mishit it and it shot into the goal, bamboozled their goalie who makes Collins look like prime Gordon Banks ...long may it continue and then maybe I may get carried away for one reason or anotherThis forum is so schizophrenic. A week of we need a complete new squad, one win and it’s BTA and JDS are great
I must be in a minority because I really enjoyed some of the football we played yesterday.
I think for many(not all) the moaning about quality of football is a bit like their methadone after their heroin addiction to saying lampard is a disaster appointment and taking us backwards etcOn a couple of occasions there was some slick one touch passing that I’d not seen for months. We’re also moving the ball with more purpose and intent
I can only presume those grumbling didn’t see games like QPR and Derby earlier in the season.

They are not ready to admit they were wrong all along after arguing with many posters about it. So for now it's "well results r ok I guess but the footy is shit!"
I think if we're at the point where we are looking for the perfect game then it must mean we are already in a good placeTo be fair, 2nd half and ET last week was truly awful, and I'd argue with anyone who said it wasn't
But yesterday was a different game and a huge improvement for me.
His posts are always agenda driven I think he’s a troll. To be fair, 2nd half and ET last week was truly awful, and I'd argue with anyone who said it wasn't

For what it's worth I don't think we are at that point yet . Still stuff to improve but it's not any worse than it was before he got here even when it is bad.
Notice Pompey just beat Middlesbrough at home. It just seemed extra worse for us cos of Collins embarrassing us. Not that our heads didn't drop mind you.
We have been very unlucky. Should be 5pts closer to the playoffs for me.Yeah, there were definitely negatives yesterday. But when there's a lot of improvement in other areas you've got to be pleased.
Portsmouth also put 3 past Bristol.
Bristols recent good form has been based on picking up points against teams similar to the ones we had games against in December/New year.
Just didn't go well for us that spell but it's done now. Pity, but itvis what it is.

I'd take a draw Vs Blackburn but if we win I think alot of people will start to get that feeling of excitement back. Especially if we progress past Ipswich in cup too. Big ask but be nice to see the crowd positive and bouncing again
Very good post Clint. I agree with the first paragraphTo be honest, I don't think we have been unlucky.
And a feature of this forum is people putting out what if scenarios to prove their point!
But we're a work in progress, and becoming difficult to beat at the CBS, be nice to now put in a really strong away performance against Blackburn.
I have no point to prove. Like the hull thread I just tend to get slot of stuff rightTo be honest, I don't think we have been unlucky.

When I say should be better off I guess what I mean is so close to being better off. Bta scores Vs Cardiff. We don't concede Vs Norwich etc
But I can understand the alternative pov which is Cardiff were much better than us first half and that Norwich had lots of chances etc
I just think we are a decent championship side. We were under robins too but just in poor form. The squads not bad though and the seasons not over. We go again

The BBC were wrong CC4LisalwaysrightIt's entirely possible to think the football is shit to watch at times and not be a heroine addict .
Even the bbc were saying it was an awful game first half , second half we were a bit better and we could have scored a couple
Like I said Evo some not all. You have said many times you think we played good stuff under robins so I'm not doubting your sincerity. It's entirely possible to think the football is shit to watch at times and not be a heroine addict .

Was it @fernandopartridge who said there has been no new manager bounce at all?
Last 10 games says different. And that's excluding cup win too
Yeah and have people forgotten how many games we won before Mark Robins was sacked.
