road blocked between the junction by the Swanswell upto Vine Street and no access left towards Stoney Stanton Road. Anyone know what happened?

Weird because there seemed to be nothing going on in the cordoned off area, no sign of a car accident, no ambulances, nothing.

I didn't see any flooding but there was no sign of a crash or a violent incident so I'm guessing the road around the traffic lights flooded and they cordoned off the road until it cleared. Probably re opened the road shortly after I passed.

Nearest houses would be Vine St so I don't think residents were affected.

The ring road was jammed up at the Sky Blue Way exit around the same time, there's normally a slip road there that's a bit susceptible to flooding and that looked to be closed off too. I swerved that and went past Hillfields, flooding would make sense as there was a lot of standing water.
