Depends on the surgeon and their post-op instructions more than anything else, and these are based on the best evidence available for how long it takes for the graft to adequately bed in. Alex Morgan took 5 months to recover and start playing again but some people can take over a year
In the UK it's unlikely to be less than 5 months before return to run, and 9 months for return to sport.
In Italy a lot of the surgeons get players back in 3 months and the re-injury rates are worse than Leicester's goal difference.
