I'll start us off as for some reason Ive built up quite a hoard of memorabilia from 1987 without really realising it. I was sorting it out and some of my more interesting items are as follows

1. The clubs typed out and hand written team sheet for the semi against Leeds asking the players to be prompt for the coach (it was removed from the noticeboard at Ryton, but without realising its importance back then) Also has the reserves team for the following Tuesday (name of Sillett on the reserves sheet - I cant recall Snoz having a son in the reserves so possibly no relation, but some great names that went on to play for the first team.

2. The sample kit produced by the Walsall based manufacturers which the club signed off. They were given 2 or 3 to choose from so the one I have is hopefully cut form the same cloth as the kit the lads wore on the day. Its long sleeved and just got the made in England label in the back like the kits for the day. When you compare the crest to the later reproductions the quality difference is vast

The one I missed out on and will forever be gutted is the infamous number 13 shirt which came up for sale a couple of years ago and which was never used on the day. It had the Granada badge and No 13 on the back. I think since then a player shirt has been sold, but Im less interested these days than I was.

Id be interested to hear what other people have - and if the git who bought the number 13 is on here!!!! in true Liam Neeson style - I will find you

I have all the tat that was being sold outside Wembley on cup final day - cardboard rosette, silk-type material flag with bamboo pole, road to Wembley t-shirt, programme.

Plus FA Cup magazine, the telegraph and Pink pull-outs produced before and after the match, all of the matchday programmes from the cup run, Go For It 7 inch single.

Nothing particularly rare or interesting though. :-(

I've just got the same tat as everyone else by the sounds of it. We (well, my Dad) has a lot of rare City stuff. My favourite would be the England badge that was on the shirt Reg Matthews worse. Not sure how my Dad got hold of it.

I bought the Wembley '87 scarf on the day outside the stadium but lost it back in Hinckley after getting into a punch up in a boozer with a bunch of bitter and twisted Leicester fans !

I commisioned artist to paint a picture of the famous Houchen header taken from just behind the goal. I came to England to pick it up and it wasn't quite finished. He said he would meet me befor my departure flight and sure enough showed up at the last minute when I was in line to go through customs. He gave me the approx 36" x 15" painting and said "Be carful it's still a bit wet". Luckily those were the days before all the restrictions and the pilot took it to Canada in the cockpit for me. It's now proudly hanging in my workshop.

Not from 87 but my Grandad was one of the bosses in the ambulance service when Trakia Plovdiv played at Highfield Road. Trakia presented a total of around 25 special edition ties to CCFC and others such as the emergency services & City Council. He still has it somewhere but after searching high and low we can't find it. Still got the pics of the presentation in an album though.

Besides all of the 87 stuff I have loads of hats, flags, shirts and scarfs (And a rattle) going back to the early 60's. Among the many collected match day programmes is complete and full set - home and away - from our very first season in division 1. This includes a home programme that was used for two games with a team sheet printed in it for a mid-week game following the Saturday game. Probably should think about selling the programmes really.

I think I still have various newspapers from the day and days after for my scrap book that I was going to do in the next few days (still not opened the first page 28 years later) and also match tickets and program and maybe some other bits don't think I have opened the shoe box in 10 years.

how much would someone pay for a worn top from that game ?

I would say a considerable amount.....

No 13 went for £320 if I recall.

86/87 was my second season a season ticket holder and I kept a scrapbook for the whole season, all the Sunday newspapers after we won, loads of Pinks, posters from Shoot etc. It's the only time I ever bothered keeping loads of items. Few years ago found out that my mum had thrown it all away as she wanted to use the holdall that I kept it in.

That's it I am going to check at my parents in case they have thrown the shoe box away, I used to love the Pink there were many times as a boy that was the first time I saw the result when I picked it up from the newsagents on a Saturday evening.

I have a bottled beer made by M&B celebrating the Cup Final, don't think it is particulary rare although I may be wrong ?

I certainly don't think I will be drinking it , yuk.
