Interesting choice of word isn't it. "Anchor" I would of said "wanker" myself. It's probaly what he meant

and to think of the decent people who've left the club because of pressley.

Rioch also tweeted something very pointed when he congratulated Billy Daniels on his move to Notts. I have heard that SP was not well liked. Especially with the Academy/Youngsters.

Gregor Rioch did a fantastic job for this club and was the major success story when Pressley arrived.
Apparently SP hated the fact that Gregor got so much credit for young players that were in the team and over a number of months forced him out of the club.

Its fairly common knowledge that Pressley likes to isolate individuals and bomb squads to get rid of players he doesn't want and he brought in Darren Murray who left under a cloud a few weeks ago. On DM's exit there were many comments on here about his style and the way he treated the younger players.

Gregor has clearly conducted himself with professionalism throughout and it would seem quite rightly he is not a fan of Pressley. I think it would be fascinating to hear his story from the inside and what really happened when he left.

I was lucky enough to have met Gregor on a couple of occasions and he talked with such enthusiasm both about the club and particularly about the young players, I can only imagine how much it hurt him to see the treatment of his players by SP and his gang.

Not that it would ever happen as I'm sure GR would not again associate with Sisu, but Gregor would have been an excellent candidate for manager, maybe guided by his own father?

I for one would welcome him back to Coventry with open arms

Yes heard a rumour in the smoking area at the match today.

About a spat between Pressley and Rioch :slap: if it is true all will be revealed soon.

Apparently the club have tried to suppress it, but it could end up with an FA Charge.
