Investment required for L1 promotion (1 Viewer)

Yeah that's right Bournemouth lost £15m in one year to get out league one.

The interesting thing is people say throw £5-6m to get up to the championship and you'll make it back the next season, that wages, and costs go up and interesting that despite Brentford's turnover doubling, their loses have also doubled (£14.2m), with their wage bill of £17m which was only too enough for 9th place.

And to think some really think we can do a quick double promotion.

So much for promotion earning you money.

When are people going to figure out that throwing money at a football club is not an 'investment'. It's a gamble and most of the time, you lose.

Like the graphic of profit/loss for Championship clubs, 5 teams made a profit, the others lost between £2M and £39M in 2014/15 season.
