The dressing room isn't lost. We just haven't got the players. Sisu have caused this and if you can't see that then your blind basically. Ripped this club apart. Protests should start again!!!

I see your point but actually they left because of a higher level of football. Yes and more money comes with that. Can't expect Cov to keep them players as they want to go but we don't replace that's the problem

We're not talking about total mugs here. Jackson, Johnson, Tudgay and Hines would all be playing in league above if they had not had injuries in last 1/2 years. We have 3 players from a Bournemouth squad that went up 2 seasons ago.
They are underperforming. Not sure why (dont actually think it's the system - professionals should be able to adapt between 3,4 and 5 at the back)

We still sign flawed players and hope they revive. We did it with the likes of Barton and co. too.

That's sometimes the gamble you take at this level - even in Championship.
It has worked for plenty of teams... Not us so far though.

We don't seem to do our research well though. It seems to be scattergun on past reputation or potential and hope.
Given this happened with Thorn too, it does suggest Waggott's transfer policy rather than the manager's mind you.

Quite possibly... But you look at people like Clarke and McGoldrick that have been good acquisitions - both were at turning points until we 'gave' them the chance to reignite their careers.
Personally - I think the problem lies in defensive recruitment

We did this years ago with Stuart Robson, and although he was actually brilliant for a season and a half, ultimately he succumbed to the underlying injuries West Ham knew he had.
You seldom get players of a half decent reputation on loan without there being some sort of baggage.....
This club is run so poorly from the top to bottom, from tickets to on field the club stinks.... Over the last 5 years they have been so lucky that players like Bigi,Christie, Wilson, Haynes, Willis and now Maddison have broke into the first team. This sadly has been through necessity other than plan and although they have improved Clarke, Thomas and Daniels have gone backwards.. The players sold have enabled this club to function and every year the owners decide that 1 or 2 will go to fund the plan they have to hold on for grim death to try to recoup the losses..
SP was brought in due to his past record with dealing with youth players stepping up now that plan seems to be done what will the owners do next,,, 4 years for SP and staff was another bad decision that the club will pay for,, but who will be sent out the door to fund a pay off... One mess to the next, when does it stop and when does SW and TF come out and state what a right royal mess they have made and keep making... I don't agree with any of the parties in our plight but why would any serious business or party want to deal with this crowd, actions speak louder than words and stumbling from one mess to the other does make it hard to point the finger anywhere else..

His senior players are on the whole a load of shirkers. Not one leader. Not one player who coaches the young players through. No talking, nothing.

The way I see it, the players don't buy into the philosophy. It's all tippy-tappy shit, and then - because of their skill level - someone loses it on the halfway line and we're immediately on the back foot. We make so many basic errors game-in, game-out, too. How many corners do we concede because of stupid cock-ups? Ten times more than the opposition does. I've lost count of how many times both wing-backs are furthest forward, leaving us exposed because we have no midfielders with a decent engine (O'Brien the exception to the rule).
I've come to the conclusion that we play 532/352 because SP has no idea how to create a solid defence. Rather than find an answer, he decides to whack another player in the back line and hope for the best. His tactical nouse is frankly very poor, even for a manager at this level. So yes, I think he has lost the dressing room because the more senior players can see through him.
The whole situation makes me sad. A few yeas ago it would have made me angry. SP hasn't juat lost the players, he's rapidly losing the fans, too.

Clarke left because he didn't want to be here, Moussa saw us a stepping stone as did the Manager who signed him, Christie's head was turned and it wouldn't of mattered what deal you'd of offered him and Wilson was a good deal for the Club. The only player I don't understand being let go was Carl Baker, but I assume that was because Carl didn't fit into the 3-5-2 system.
None of the above are names left due to contract or terms offered in my eyes

It wasn't bad ta pal. I won't lie when I say I hoped for a lot better when I got up there but such is life.
From the looks of the tactics, it looks like that SP has seen it work in the World Cup and thought "Why can't it work for us?" yet in my eyes I don't think we have the players capable of playing that system, especially the defence.

Not being able to offer competitive salaries is not just a black and white issue, yes it's true, we can't offer salaries that Clubs like Charlton, Derby and Wolves can, but do you really think the likes of Moussa, Christie and Clarke didn't hang about just because of the salary?
Christie was offered the chance to play at a Club that just missed out on promotion to the Premier League, Leon forced his way out to move back to Wolves and he is gaining success from it, albeit the bench, Franck Moussa is being used as a spare at Charlton but with the Belgian contingent and his record last season, Championship Football was almost a certainty for him, I think Moussa in particular couldn't be arsed with us in the end, hence the reason he didn't play towards the end of the season.
Just because our salaries don't compete with those in the Championship means diddly squat, all it is, is another easy excuse - a stick if you will - to beat the owners with, we all know that FFP restrictions were going to be tight with the move to Northampton, but I think we will be better off for that move in the long haul as a sustainable business.

Jesus, your first post says not to blame Waggot (as well as owners) but then in your posts you blame him, make your mind up! He was/is partly responsible for players signed, researching and seeing who was available. But you are right to include Pressley in the blame though too, I'll give you that.
