It could well be, I don't know, but I would wager when the time comes, as usualthis season we have spent nothing, we have not replaced tm snd gone for the cheap option of mv, financial/ marketing director has left, no plans for the academy or our lease at the ricoh, ryton being touted for sale and mv hinting at the fact we wont be spending any money in the jan transfer window.
For me this points towards sisu waiting on the result of their final court appeal and then recouping what they can from any revenue available such as ryton, player sales, cutting staff increased st prices and they will then go leaving us in the lowest position on and off the field we have ever seen

We have spent money on at least two players, possibly more, simple really how many Div. 1 teams do you think will be spending money on transfer fees in January?
Only those who are increasing their debt!
If the gamble pays off fine, if it doesn't disaster which is why we're currently where we are!

We're not even that now, more like "worn out and sinking"We will still be alive and kicking this time next year.

...the end of my long association with season tickets is definitely in sight.
Why wouldn't they try to achieve Cat 2, it adds value to the club. As usual you don't quite get it.Haven't they just done the audit for the academy?

We will be the last to know.
If he even knows anything, SISU will be angry after today's news, that could be bad for us.malaka will let us know when

They lost the first JR. That would of cost them ££££...what news

all acadamies are routinely audited..He said no plans, I said it has just been audited. I'd class that as a plan.
its been audited as cat 2, there must be some semblance of a plan for past the end of the season.all acadamies are routinely audited..
Mentioned this on another thread, when we become homeless in 2018, who is paying for the move?End in sight? not sure it is any time soon
The JR1 might be over but there is a decision to make on JR2
However I think the departure from the club revolves around the training ground. If they can sell that, invest in a new site get some grants to add in to it then they create an asset that is worth far more than the Ryton. At that point they might look at selling the assets clearing off the ARVO loan, maybe some to Sconset too then they will go. Could take a couple of years though
In the meantime the club is left to find its own level being self sufficient but more importantly not costing SISU or ARVO any long term finance (there might be the odd short term finance repaid from player sales money). If they get paid add ons for the likes of Wilson, Maddison or sell the likes of Stevenson then all the better for them.
Might well be entering the final chapter but I don't think its going to be a short journey

So the fans then? The owners don't fund the club. The club would, wouldn't they? Depending on what, where, how etc?
They would have known in advance.
