Another one for kids. Nothing makes me happier than my daughters. When I first see them after a few days away instant mood lifter

E mail is 14 years old- shit!
My daughter is making me smile at the moment, but only with her cheekiness. At times I wonder if she is going to turn out to be another Del Boy.

Yesterday she brought a load of Christmas cards home from school.

I had a quick peek and card after card said stuff like 'I know you don't celebrate Christmas, but I got you a card anyway'.

A whole stack of them. It's weird, because she absolutely adores Christmas, so it didn't make sense.

I confronted her and In the end I found out she was just being lazy and told everyone that she didn't celebrate Christmas just so she didn't have to write out any cards for anyone

Also, the whole school thinks she's poor cos she's never got any money. A lot of the kids at this new acting school are rather posh and well off, so they keep buying food for her and pay for her at restaurants.

Thing is, she's not broke at all and has loads of money, but she just keeps not taking it to school because she is saving up for a new iPhone.

Cheeky madam. We tell her off, but sometimes you can help but smile after and she is very generous when she DOES take money out with her, but it's very rare she does so.

The other thing that is constantly making me laugh and smile at the moment is my parents.

My mum has dementia and can't see very well and my dad can hardly hear anything at all.

I am with them now pretty much every day ferrying them here, there and everywhere and it is so funny to watch some of the antics.

There's some saddening tearful moments too, but one the whole it is comedy gold at present. Mum has just has mild to moderate dementia at the moment so is just getting everything muddled up, but is in very good spirits.

Erm....steady on now.

Was listening to David Baddiel and he was saying you have to embrace the joy that is contained within the moment.

Listening to my mum and dad argue this morning over a Christmas jumper that was, or was not purchased was a joy to behold. :)

Seeing goals from Big Cyrille popping up on Twitter from time to time always cheers me up. Most recently the winning header in the 4-3 against Spurs, and that cracking shot in the FA Cup QF against Wednesday...

Still can't believe he's gone, what a man!

That Spurs goal always makes me smile. Seemed to mean so much to him.

And like Otis, seeing my wee Chihuahua first thing in the morning! He's up on the bed and bouncing around, wagging his tail as if to say, "C'mon! Get up!" Just look at that happy face!!……….

Dogs are alright as singular, it's when you have multiple they turn into annoying little knobheads. I assume it's the same as children.

Just have one on their own and they are great, put them with the others and they completely change. Egging each other on to be annoying.
