Everton secured their place in the Premier League for next season with a dramatic win over Crystal Palace but their relegation rivals have been left particularly angry
Desperation Burnley are in all sorts of trouble if they come down, they have a huge debt now. Leeds have made bad decisions and didn’t sign enough decent players.
Well, yes & no. I think it's a very fair question to ask but the timing obviously makes it look a bit bitter.
Everton massively failed FFP but claim that was as a direct consequence of Covid which they say cost them approx. £170m. For comparison some other Premier League teams say it cost them £40m-60m.
That said, I believe it was okayed as above board a while ago but who knows.
Fair enough if it was before the other night, but was is only 10 days ago when it became apparent? Would they have complained if they were safe and Everton weren't?
Not saying it's right but feel it's clutching straws to stay up when they need to look at themselves footballing-wise as to why they are struggling and one won't be good enough to stay up
