Just seen this, this bit stood out:

"Since Dave Allen resigned from the board, I have been looking after his interests in the club and I accept the responsibility that goes with that position. Some mistakes have been made and I apologise for that, but we have done our best to rectify the situation, including financing one of the highest player wage budgets in League Two.

Does anybody know much more about what's gone on there?

The issues and poor off field management there have been going on for some time. Alarm bells rang for me when Cook left after losing in the play offs and went to the league below. The problems have wrongly gone under the radar.

The bit I don't get is that they have said they have given the manager one of the highest budgets in the league. Obviously it could be porkies but it's very real that they could be non league next year.

Guess he either has a dodgy VPN or they can just bypass it for club staff. Steve Taylor was watching our games too.
