I do get that, but we seem to finally have a little stability at the club, so let's just take a breath. We could spend £5 million in the next couple of weeks and it still wouldn't guarantee anything. After the last 10 years of turmoil I've no issue with the approach we are currently taking. At some point they might need to take a few risks, but I'm not sure that time is now. Making the playoffs, let alone progressing through them, is a huge ask from here anyway, let's not kid ourselves.

Just feels at times like we can't afford a full squad - i.e. if we want a left back we have to be a striker short. It's also fairly obvious we need an attacking midfielder, even more now we seem to be playing 2.

To be fair, it's probably mostly the frustration of defeat blurring my judgement at the moment.

No I think you’re right. As it stands we’re down a striker, a CB, an AM and arguable one or two CMs and it means we have to play players through bad form, out of position, or lack options to change a game. If we had another Hamer or O’Hare to come in today, or a proper striker it could have been very different. I think the lack of quality at the back shows against the top teams as well.

We’ve still got some deadwood that can go in the summer but really we need the wage bill upping by a couple of mill in the summer.

Bright really could’ve helped if he wasn’t such a berk. Especially if he’s one to work off the crowd.

Maybe my favourite knee jerk reaction to a loss yet SISU have made many errors in the past but you can't argue they have backed Robins in the recent years? We have put together a squad that outplayed QPR massively today who are a top 6 champ team. No need to spend silly money and risk going down derby's path, not sure what a sensible supportor expects in the current climate?

Who said silly money. We don’t even have a full squad. We had to sell a striker to sign a left back. Why don’t you go away Neil and stick to giving people hugs at the matches.

Are we talking recent seasons. Or the fact they’re happy to see Robins and the squad flounder on the comparable peanuts they’re putting forward now? We will not realistically compete and just plodding along hoping for survival is crap.

You’ve had a shocker. Leave.

'we will not realistic compete' at the start of the season we were all happy with safety now we are ahead of where we are budget wise, lose a game and is all SISU fault again this forum is madness when cov lose a game

Problem is they are not going anywhere; they would have bailed long ago if they were.

If memory serves me correctly when people have looked at the accounts the interest payments/charges being levelled on the club are to pay down Sisus initial poor investment.

If we were to sell Hamer/Ohare for decent money it possibly takes sisu closer to their break even point; but then massively weakens the team and we’ll be in danger of dropping again.

Feel this is as good as it gets under the current regime but to finally have a fresh start we’ll have to stomach sold assets and crawl up from league 1 again.

We aren’t competing and we have owners who are divorced from the club other than accumulated interest abs payments

If a small minority want to blame the owners at the minute when the footballs excellent, we are improving year by year without spending beyond our means then I really do feel sorry for them not sure I'm wrong though I've only seen any mention of SISU when we lose because people are frustrated. Whatever though, I'm not going to argue on here it's really sensitive after a loss!

Happy for us to plod along on a bottom 3 budget. You’ll be among the first protesters when it inevitably isn’t enough to keep us up, I’m sure.

Next season is likely to be the first we actually regress under Robins' tenure and it's going to be interesting to see how we deal with it as a fanbase.

Agree that we shouldn’t be overstretching ourselves with big transfers and contracts but as a few have said, a couple of really good quality loans could potentially sneak us into the plays offs which is surely worth a gamble….as much for SISU as the club

We are spending above our means every season Sisu Capital have funded gaps in cash flow with high interest Loans and we now clearly have had to dump a player of the wage bill to find a replacement for Maatsen as we have no money.
As a business we are insolvent.

Of course we are competing. Very few games this season where we've been played off the park. Your second point I agree with. We're competing in spite of our owners not because of them.

The staff will be fully aware of what is out there in terms of loans and will be weighing up any possible option.
Loans still incur cost. Often there is a loan fee and a percentage of wages to cover.
We tried to get Morgan Gibbs White - but could not compete with what others (Inc Sheff Utd) could offer.
We have a playing budget. That is known at the start of a season.
We do have a "full squad" - full because the budget has dictated so.

Where do we expect the "extra money" to come from??

You’ve taken us as far as you can on a few pennies. Even Robins who’s a miracle worker won’t take you any further unless you invest.

Either time to stump up a few more quid or get out.

We could have the biggest crowds in the division and still have a budget lower than most.

The vast majority in this division overspend.
