The staff will be fully aware of what is out there in terms of loans and will be weighing up any possible option.
Loans still incur cost. Often there is a loan fee and a percentage of wages to cover.
We tried to get Morgan Gibbs White - but could not compete with what others (Inc Sheff Utd) could offer.
We have a playing budget. That is known at the start of a season.
We do have a "full squad" - full because the budget has dictated so.
Where do we expect the "extra money" to come from??
"Derby"Agree the loans still cost but only likely to be wages between now and the end of the season so a one off gamble. If we get promoted it’s 100m and SISU are sorted. SISU would have to fund the cost obviously but as I said it’s worth a punt for them as much as the club
I still think we might get at least one in but maybe I’m just an optimist
Theres a middle ground between not taking money out of the club and spending £100m you don't have and it's childish to not acknowledge it."Derby"
"Reading"
Yes Reading - less points deducted than Derby.Theres a middle ground between not taking money out of the club and spending £100m you don't have and it's childish to not acknowledge it.

Rumour has it there may be a few more clubs facing deductions too.
Unfortunately, I don't think they are going to spend big. It's easy to say they need to go, and the majority of fans have thought this for a while. Who is going to buy us though?
Do we have money to spend? That's not the middle ground.
Hahaha god your fucking thick. How was today SISUS fault?SISU
You’ve taken us as far as you can on a few pennies. Even Robins who’s a miracle worker won’t take you any further unless you invest.
Either time to stump up a few more quid or get out.
we have a top 10 crowd and a bottom 10 budget, we've had to weaken one position to strengthen another.Do we have money to spend?
Who would invest money on playing side?
(Genuine question to succeed that - is any investment that goes straight into playing budget allowed under any FFP regulations??)
we have a top 10 crowd and a bottom 10 budget, we've had to weaken one position to strengthen another.
An owner can put a reasonable bit of cash in to improve the squad each year without going mad and without breaking ffp
Ours are now just taking money out instead.
What a stupid argument.
If posh, blackpool or hull stay up this year. And by some miracle get a top 10 average crowd. They will still be bottom 6 budget...lol next year.
1 - crowd is income - top 10 yes... CBS rent must be factored in here....we have a top 10 crowd and a bottom 10 budget, we've had to weaken one position to strengthen another.

2- Can they? (Honestly don't know answer)
3- Do they need to do that to help satisfy people involved that ultimately help/have helped keep us afloat over the years?? (Genuine question)
If they stopped, could someone mentioned above look to pull the plug??
I can understand people wanting a "bit more money" but I'd rather have CCFC in the long term performing at a decent level, than taking gambles.
The club will roughly know how many televised games they will feature in. Thus budgeted for.Well we’ve raked in a fair bit extra in televised games and ticket sales but find ourselves sending first team strikers out on loan to afford a left back

The club have already admitted "unforseen costs" in relation to CBS matchdays.
Which bit?I call bollocks on that sorry

Mike Ashley is looking to buy another club, would snap your hand off over Sisu any day.
He has tools, but not tools that some others have - nature of the hierarchy of football clubs. It's not about spunking loads of money, it's about giving the manager the tools do the job.
Robins is operating with his hands tied behind his back. Today demonstrated that.
Which bit?
I know you are not.... don't worry!'Unforeseen costs', sorry, surely these were clear when the deal was signed? Not to be having a go at you personally, but the accounts are pretty clear in our owners helping themselves in a way pretty atypical to most others
I know you are not.... don't worry!
Easy to find a set of SC minutes.. I just googled after my post- eg, club shop cost double what was forecast.... example without reading much...
Offset by at least the above example....We had a record season ticket sale and have been averaging a few thousand above what was forecast.
Plus new contracts....???

He is operating his "tools" very well, despite that they may not be at a level of other clubs - that is what today demonstrated!
"Awaits further "tools" comments or else it would not be SBT!"
Don't think he would be interested in us. It's reported that with Derby he's looking to buy the club and then buy the stadium from Mel Morris. Unless Wasps were willing to sell the lease (if that's even possible) I can't see him wanting us. This could be a sticking point for any takeover.Mike Ashley is looking to buy another club, would snap your hand off over Sisu any day.
Don't think he's been given a workable squad mate.
As a lot are saying, not talking about stupid spending, just 3 or 4 quality additions.
If he doesn't get them then we're mid table championship at best but we'll fuck up one year and go down

The whole thing depends on Robins working miracles on a shoestring. The aim should be for 2 Championship standard players per position. We have it now at both wing back positions and did have it up front, but really nowhere else.
Attacking midfield is screaming out for help especially but you look at the benches today and Robins has got nothing to really change a game with
