...to the people of Coventry (us) and not to a London Sports franchise who rocked up five minutes ago. Have they forgotten why they were set up and for who?
We will be sitting in that stadium long after SISU have departed, it would be quite nice if a Coventry club owned it.
They, and anyone holding the right to veto need to get past their hatred of SISU and offer our club a future, and SISU a way out.

They may think they can help achieve their charitable aims by getting some money for their shares, and getting away from the mess. If anyone has a duty to take a long term view it's the Council, not the Charity.

I'm comfortable whatever they decide is best for them. They stepped in to help out the club on a temporary basis, it's not their job or responsibility to do what's best for CCFC in the long term.

If they serve their aims by spending money rather than having it tied up in shares then I'm comfortable. They are not responsible for CCFC or it's owners, ultimately they need to do what's best for the Charity.

I wonder if that's what their mission statement says? I think it probably says something about doing whats best for those it serves, not itself.

No that's right, their job is to do what's best for the Charity, and by that I mean the Charity's aims, which are not CCFC and not Wasps. Anything that happens as a by product of selling their shares is not their main priority.

Higgs have stated they want to sell to wasps . Wasps have a small matter of the loan to fund and there is a small matter of directors having the power to decide which bid to accept .

The other thing no one talks about is the practicality of two totally different companies owning 50% of this company. It could never work. Who nominates the directors who makes strategic decisions who decides on the events management, the rent for the respective clubs.

cant argue with that, and exactly the reason SISU would like to get the Higgs 50% maybe?

i can't see them getting it though, but lots more court cases to look forward to.....

I would agree it appears in all aspects to be a done deal, and there is no suggestion other than your made up one, that Higgs are selling against their will.

Fully agree they should be totally focused on raising the most money to spend on the deprived children of Coventry.

Do you agree with me if SISU have offered more cash up front they should accept it?

Funny how people forget that they helped out city before brought city's share and wrote off the rest of the loan they were owed, only to be treated like shit, called liars taken to court. Yet they are the Demons here?
Remember Tim said we have moved to Warwick Uni because they have better facilities???

It would be more pertinent if SISU showed some respect to people who have been loyal to the club in the past, whether they are businesses, investors or just fans.

You try to make out that you have a high powered job and are high up in the company that you work for. Yet when this company which is a big supporter of Wasps and they move to Coventry you knew nothing. You are so high up you can't even see the benefits of two clubs working together.

There are many football and rugger clubs that ground share. If SISU got the 50% what would be needed would be a company to run the stadium....for instance we will call it ACL...... Experienced people are put in place to run different sections of the arena. Put them on a good bonus scheme. The company should have say two from Wasps and two from SISU as long as one of them isn't Fisher. Then have someone who is in charge of ACL on the board to have the casting vote on decisions. The income would easily make enough to pay the small mortgage. The profits shared between the two clubs. All ticket sales go directly to the clubs. And by the look of things all this would cost both clubs would be less than 3m outlay.

I don't know. This could be an ideal solution for SISU. Think about it, they'd always be someone else to blame and SISU don't be able to function unless there is someone else to blame.

CCFC should have a 50% share. Ground sharing is essential. A stadium bowl with League 1 crowds can't work. If SISU owned it, they would sublet to someone - they need revenue. Unfortunately they let it slip and now Wasps are in the driving seat. A problem is that SISU are not here primarily to achieve sporting success. They want a return on investment. At the moment they would accept plodding along at a small profit - success in comparison to the last few years. Having the share in this case may not necessarily be for the benefit of CCFC. They may carry on with the stadium plan and use the share to blackmail Wasps into having to buy them out - just business. They have a different view of things than CCFC fans. We don't know their plan.

The jr point is one if appeals and attrition. It has finished ACL off what they hadn't factored in was how much of a loss they were prepared to take.

Never said the second thing.

No one was interested in the Ricoh that's why the the old terms were ripped up and new ones put in place. Factoring on the debt on the loan it was sold at a loss. The lease outlives the stadium so ownership of the stadium has cost less than one average premier league player.

Given that ACL have hugely devalued themselves only a fool would believe they were financially stable despite assertions from you to the contrary.

The smoking gun? This was aimed at council duplicity which even a fanboy like you will struggle to argue against.

Sixfields? Well your method of demonstrating against sisu was that you will never go again when sisu are in charge. Er, er ah well never mind.

Yeah, you can set up some conspiracy theories.

SISU get the share, Wasps decide they can't be bothered with this and pull out... we now know how much the place is worth on a long lease, can stop the nonsense about it being worth £60million, and instead a nice normal deal can be worked out;

Wasps decide they can't be bothered, and sell their 50% straight off to SISU and retreat back to London. Everyone's a winner.

Or there's always the reality... it's all a pile of steaming bollocks.
