They may think they can help achieve their charitable aims by getting some money for their shares, and getting away from the mess. If anyone has a duty totake a long term view it's the Council, not the Charity.
I'm comfortable whatever they decide is best for them. They stepped in to help out the club on a temporary basis, it's not their job or responsibility to do what's best for CCFC in the long term.
So you're comfortable that a Coventry charity set up to serve its people would rather benefit a club that means nothing to our city than a Coventry club supported by Coventry citizens? Really?
They ultimately have no choice - they will be selling to wasps whatever they want to do
If they serve their aims by spending money rather than having it tied up in shares then I'm comfortable. They are not responsible for CCFC or it's owners, ultimately they need to do what's best for the Charity.
I wonder if that's what their mission statement says? I think it probably says something about doing whats best for those it serves, not itself.
yep, that's what I meant, it definitely won't say do what's best for CCFC. That's the job of CCFC's owners.
And it most definitely will not say anything about doing what's best for a London Rugby Club to the detriment of a whole bunch of the citizens it serves.
No that's right, their job is to do what's best for the Charity, and by that I mean the Charity's
aims, which are not CCFC and not Wasps. Anything that happens as a by product of selling their shares is not their main priority.
Anyway off out now, hope you have a good evening.
Utter drivel.
No I am afraid you just sound like a naive little child. People like you are a dream to Lucas and co. This is a 100% deal.
Wake up to reality.
This 100% deal... Are you in the know or is this opinion?

Well he is a director or something of Wasps main sponsors so what do you think?
The other thing no one talks about is the practicality of two totally different companies owning 50% of this company. It could never work. Who nominates the directors who makes strategic decisions who decides on the events management, the rent for the respective clubs.
Paralysis.
I don't finance the loan and I'm not sitting on ACL's board
Their priority should be the citizens of Coventry. A good evening to you too.
Come on Grendel you must have heard things.

...to the people of Coventry (us) and not to a London Sports franchise who rocked up five minutes ago. Have they forgotten why they were set up and for who?
We will be sitting in that stadium long after SISU have departed, it would be quite nice if a Coventry club owned it.
They, and anyone holding the right to veto need to get past their hatred of SISU and offer our club a future, and SISU a way out.

How about remembering previous Grendel comments.
SISU lost the JR on purpose.
It is good to have a strong negotiator like SISU running our club.
ACL will go under.
Just wait for the smoking gun.
Nobody will be interested in the Ricoh other than CCFC.
My way of demonstrating against our move to Northampton is not going to Sixfields..........
So no, not very good at guessing. Rarely right. Good at giving insults. Crap insults though. If you work for CCC you are scum. Deep down seems a nice chap. But seems to have an internet hat which makes him look an idiot at times. But at the end of the day he is a CCFC supporter
cant argue with that, and exactly the reason SISU would like to get the Higgs 50% maybe?
Fully agree they should be totally focused on raising the most money to spend on the deprived children of Coventry.
Which is of course exactly why they got involved with a basket case football club in the first place...
