Hey guys, Norwich fan here. I saw that Jacob Murphy scored a hat-trick for you today. Great to see him seemingly developing, and looking like in the not to distance future he could perhaps challenge for a place in our first team. A couple of questions though I was just wondering:

What position has he been playing since he signed? I've read a few reports suggesting that he's being played up front, when through our youth system he's played as an out and out right winger.

Do you think that he has enough potential to break into our first team perhaps in a couple of seasons time? Him and his twin brother Josh have always been very highly rated by all Norwich fans, but have never really been able to cement a first team place, Jacob in particular, so do you ever think he'll be able to do so?

Anyway, cheers guys, good to see him doing well for you, and also see you top of the league. Hopefully he'll keep scoring goals and help you win games so you can stay there

Hi and welcome, he has been very good for us this season. One of our gems. He will play higher than league 1 for sure.

He is still young and learning but he has no better master than TM. He is a lucky lad. He is playing well and mentored well.

He does drift out of the game occasionally but that's a minor thing. He is a gem and will still learn and when it all clicks he will be a good player at a higher level.

Scored 3 straight games now and looks great for us

He we play a 4-2-3-1 system, predominantly he's been playing left wing and was doing well providing the assists but he's really flourished since moving into a central number 10 position just behind the striker.

Not sure if he will make the grade in the premier league but he will develop into a top championship player at least.

When he first arrived, some described him as lazy.

Now, he's far from that!

The kid has pace to burn, and until the last couple, I think he'd been performing better away from home than he was at home. However, since moving from the wing into the number 10 role, he's been a different player. His movement, his speed, and today showed he has such a calm head. Really thought he'd held onto the ball too long for his first, but he eyed up the keeper, the keeper eyed up him, he won!

Glad we have him for the season!

I would have to disagree with that, certainly for now.

Armstrong has had quiet games, but never a really bad game I would say and his consistency level is much higher. On his day Murphy may well be better, but he has shown a lot of inconsistency and had some really terrible games.

Think we need to stay patient with and expect a few rum efforts from him every now and again and when he does, not to get on his back like we have previously.

Murhpy could well prove to be as essential as Armstrong if he can keep this form up and be a little more consistent.

He's got all the bits to be a top player, but I'd have to see him against better opposition to judge properly to be fair. I'd say he's our best loan and the one most likely to make it at the top level (apart from maybe Turner). Definitely worth a loan to us in the Championship next year to continue his development.

I haven't seen that bloke who said he was "the worst player I've ever seen in a Coventry City shirt" for a while.
He'll probably claim his uncalled for abuse spurred him on to score his goals though. Can't win.

He had a shocker in the first half of our home game against Peterborough a a month back (and I mean really bad), but since then he has been incredible.
The pace he has causes everyone problems.

But he 'looked lazy'. Never under estimate a slightly hunched back and a shoulder shrug. It can be the make or break of a player.

And never ever consider one of our players is up against someone better than them during a certain game. It's 100% shit or 100% good at all costs.

Great prospect with pace to burn, scored some great goals with a "Worldy" at Walsall, he could have had 5 today with a bit more luck, I love him and seems to have the potential to play at a higher level.

And where's the poster who said Mowbray was a terrible manager?

Can't remember who he was but he was saying Mowbray was useless and then I think jumped straight back on it again after we lost to Walsall.

Murphy a great talent. Like Kent has pace and skill. Both have great games and off days. TM is letting these players develop and it's great to watch.

Having watched LFC u18s/u21s quite a bit in the past couple of years, they have come up against Norwich and Kent and the Murohy twins were regularly among the most influential on the pitch. It all culminated in a 4-4 at Anfield where the Murphys did almost exactly what they wanted in the last 30 minutes. Clearly all talented players. Funny that Kent and a Murphy is in the same team on loan now, must be loving this promotion race..

Hasn't he rounded the keeper 3 times in 2 games now. Takes good confidence to do that rather than just shooting on sight
