Would you want him here beyond the end of the season? I wouldn’t. He has a few plus-points but I feel this would have worked better as a loan if possible, otherwise we’d be upgrading our 3rd best striker without good reason.
Yeah ideally you’d say come here until the summer and prove yourself/put yourself in the shop window. I think you’re right we’d probably need better for the target man type striker, but we’d also need two so maybe he’d be a better 4th striker than Max?
Wouldn’t be surprised second time he’s hardly played hereWolves have recalled a few loan players today. Wonder if Giles will be called back as he isn’t playing enough?

First time he didn’t get a look in and he’s clearly been bombed I won’t be shocked to see him go back and move elsewhere1362 minutes, just 3 less than McCallum.
"Hardly played"
That's what West Ham fans call himDon’t want Jack Wheelchair thank you very much

Not happening then? Shame.
Get on the Armand Gnanduillet train: 6’4 scored loads in L1, free agent.
But he would still cost a few bob. So forget I mentioned him !Troy Deeney looks like he's leaving Watford. He's a Brummie and experienced and would be good for a season or two. But a bit injury prone and would be on a decent wage no doubt. Just thought I'd throw his name in !

The same Troy Deeney who Tottenham enquired about in the summer ?Troy Deeney looks like he's leaving Watford. He's a Brummie and experienced and would be good for a season or two. But a bit injury prone and would be on a decent wage no doubt. Just thought I'd throw his name in !
I was messing about I just thought I'd stick his name in. We could do with an experienced striker though, but within our budget.I'd guess Deeney is on £100k a week. If we sign him for 3 weeks that's a £300k punt that could keep us up!
This is the sort of signing where he will either step up comfortably or flop massively, no in between. Kind of like Omar Bogle.Cardiff set to sign Max Waters. Been prolific for Crawley.

Norwich are on the verge of signing a Greek international left back.
Don’t think Sam is going to have much of a future at Norwich. Way down the pecking order now.
Imagine being able to spend >£3m on a development player who it seems might not even get into their team. They really are in a different league to us financially.Norwich are on the verge of signing a Greek international left back.

good news
We have done very well out of this deal.
We would be stupid not to go for Crowley. Davis and Mceachran are not better than what we have.
My blues supporting mate has just text to say Crowley is heading to us, can't see anything more concrete on it, all the news is linking him to Hull.
They've just released Davis, so presume their more concerned with cutting the wage bill. His deal is up in the summer, albeit they have an option for a further year but hopefully they just want him out of the door. Are they expecting a fee?

He has been de-registered so I’d assume no fee and he wouldn’t be a loan which fits us at the moment. Are they expecting a fee?
