We need someone to replace SheafWe need a Cm to partner Sheaf who offers more than Eccles…
Give Dovin a go, we are not going to buy another keeper unless one leaves.Need 2 CBs, a LB, a RB, a first team GK, a CM, a CAM.

yes, if we get anywhere near a decent fee that is reinvestable i agreeWe need someone to replace Sheaf
A fair summary. All this has been known for about three transfer windows. The recruitment has been shocking. Need to start getting a few character checks done. Not one backbone between them.Need 2 CBs, a LB, a RB, a first team GK, a CM, a CAM.
We just do not move the ball quickly enough, we need to get those wingers one on one but it takes us 10 passes to get the ball to them. I've been a fan of Eccles but I'm now starting to conclude that he's too limited with the ball.I really struggle to understand what style of play or tactical approach we have recruited for. The squad looks awfully composed to me. Too slow to play on the break, wingers aren’t fast enough for us to play down the wings, we’re not good enough on the ball to play possession, we’re not good enough at pressing to try and win the ball high up, we’re too leaky at the back to play compact. How Dean Austin is still in a job is incredible.
We've got a member of staff who's supposedly been doing this.A fair summary. All this has been known for about three transfer windows. The recruitment has been shocking. Need to start getting a few character checks done. Not one backbone between them.
What we’re screaming for is dynamism to advance the ball at more than a snail’s paceId go get Tyler Morton or find a more athletic CM with bundles of energy. And someone who is happy to protect the back 4, we are screaming out for a true no 6.
It isn't the fault of the recruitment team. It's the managers fault. Read that fact on here several times.I can not believe we’ve paid millions for Asante, that money could have been used for CM or CB, how can the recruitment team not see how poor we are in those areas yet we all can
He fits in elsewhere , not at Cov.Wright will be back soon, Dovin will go back in the net, we'll probably invest in 1 or 2 in Jan. We'll be fine and already looking a bit more coherent imo.
Concerned at the likes of BTA, not sure where he fits in and wasn't cheap.
Get on the phone to Hull...He fits in elsewhere , not at Cov.
Not sure that we feel guilty about it more that our pants have been pulled downGet on the phone to Hull...
You know that lad you wanted, that we nicked from under your nose... well we've been feeling guilty about it and, as it's Christmas, we would like you to buy him off us for the same price.
I'm sure they will snap our hands off!
Another keeper?! Make it stop!Need 2 CBs, a LB, a RB, a first team GK, a CM, a CAM.
Let's not talk about any more signings under this recruitment team, why do we seriously believe that they will suddenly deliver something good.
What other option do we actually have though?
The alternative is to do nothing at all which will certainly see us continue to ship goals at a shocking rate.
I'd personally go with playing the centre back pairing you spent £6m on 18 months ago for a run of games first
Surely the style of play or tactical approach we recruited for was whatever Mark Robins wanted. That recruitment is null and void now as Mark Robins is no longer the man in the dugout. Frank has inherited a squad that whilst i think everyone will agree has some good players will not be the squad Frank ideally wants. It will take 2 or 3 transfer windows for the squad to reflect how Frank wants it to be.I really struggle to understand what style of play or tactical approach we have recruited for. The January window is not going to solve our problems.
We will be lucky to get two players in and they will probably be just loans.
It's batten down the hatches and see out this season and hopefully we can stay in the league.
I know it's depressing isn't it after all the high hopes from last season.
Correct. A player who has got better by not playing. People forget how bad he can be.I'm not entirely sure thrusting an out of favour Kitching into the side is the miraulous answer to our issues to be honest.
He's also not good enough.
hamer was so good at progressing it quickly and honestly just taking a calculated risk. Torps the only one who might actually have the capability to do that but they’re all so risk averse they just piss about with it sideways and backwards until one of them falls asleep in the ball and gifts it to the oppositionWhat we’re screaming for is dynamism to advance the ball at more than a snail’s pace
