If we try it for 5-10 games and it isn’t working, then you assess the facts in the ground and adjust accordingly. RW is not an unfamiliar position to EMC so there’s not reason he can’t make an impact.
The only data we have on EMC playing RW is a few cameos and 1-2 starts on the right.
The Lampard-Gerrard conundrum was deeper than personnel, the system didn’t allow for them to flourish as a pair.

You want to potentially waste a quarter of a season on something that doesnt work? You seem happy to play him there despite, in your own words, having no actual experience of playing in that position therefore making it an unfamiliar position.
EMC cannot play on the right "
Asked by one City fan how the club can get best out of the 25-year-old, MacAnthony explained on his Hard Truth: Inside the Football Industry podcast, plain and simply: “Play him in the right position! So, what I have been told and if my information is incorrect, please accept my apologies in advance.
“I’m told he’s only played in his rightful position on the left-hand side of a three once or twice, and he’s been playing him as a right winger. When we had Ephron at Peterborough, the worst I saw him play was in two games when the manager played him on the right wing, and I lost my **** because he was absolutely ineffective."
I don’t get the idea to go back to what wasn't working earlier this season.
We have a right winger in tats and the new lad if he signs. If you play Mason there you take away his ability to cut in with his right foot which is a major strength of him.
Just play Saka,Wright,EMC. If it struggles you could play Simms and move Wright to the left
EMC is going to have to be an impact-sub/rotation option at LW for the rest of the season in the knowledge that we’ll sell Wright and he’ll be first-choice next year
That’s not at all what this reads like. His job is also improving players why didn’t he mention that? “Will you get two or three?” “If we can keep winning games”
