Unquestional ability for rcc and with time he'll improve further, but when the games get more important at the back end if the season, he may need a break. He may not, but if promotion is on the line in April and he drops a couple of clangers or picks up a knock, huge pressure on burge and although I like him too, I wouldn't feel secure.
Experience would be a calming influence and make all the difference at the sharp end. This could come down to one game and if we don't go up this year, I suspect we'll lose Tm and won't necessarily pock up the same quality in the loan market next season. This chance is huge and we can't afford to fail on sentimentality alone.
Based on what though? Of course your opinion is equally valid as mine since neither can prove otherwise, but I strongly disagree and hope that I'm wrong.
I also did say cb replacement the priority in my initial post, but to not have adequate cover and experience for the Keeper is a mistake imo. I also can't believe that after so many years of desperation that we could expect the same next season. I feel it's paramount that we go up on this occasion. As I said I really hope to eat humble pie and for once genuinely don't want this to be an I told you so, as I'm so desperate for success.
This 2 year project tagline does worry me a bit, but then I do just think it is also just a sound bite to a degree.TM has a 2 year project. Getting promoted this season would be a year ahead of target.
We need to strengthen where we are the weakest. That is the defence. Turner will be gone soon.
Any player can lose confidence. There is no need to cover every position just in case. And RCC is very confident so it would take a lot to make him a nervous wreck. Burge is good enough for cover. Reserve GK's don't normally get used. I don't have 100% faith in him to be first choice. But he is capable enough if needed.
Yep and though Murphy will get a few, I just don't think he's a 20 goal a season striker and he lacks the striker instinct that Armstrong possesses.A striker to go with Armstrong, now that could be Cole or Maddison but I do think relying on AA alone to be our principal striker is a risk

TM has limited funds. He has done great with the money so far. But there can't be much left now. .

Don't see any sense in that at all to be honest for a start I believe Connor Thomas has a long term injury and how much would getting shut of Lateef save ? Not a lot and we would be a body down in an area we could struggle with if injuries kick in. TM has said there is some budget left and when he signed Lateef that he was very much for the futureRealistically, I'd be surprised if Latafe or Connor Thomas make any impact on the rest of the season, we have the cover in terms of Sambou and Bigi. We could easily lose them off the payroll to free up some funds.
What happened to this ex Seattle player Andy Rose?

We don't if he stays fit and keeps scoring he is our Sergio Aguero but unlike Man City we don't have the likes of a Wilfred Bony in reserveWhy do we need a striker to go with Armstrong? We only play one up front.
I doubt anyone would pay but if he could get a few quid for Burge or Thomas I would let them go.
