The weird thing about Dasilva is how he ever became a full back in the first place. He just doesn't have the attributes.
He's neat enough with the ball, and I can picture him playing centre mid in a possession based side, ferrying it around and playing little one-twos etc.,
but only against less physical sides. Since we have him on a long contract (and assuming he can't be moved on) scratching my head that's about the best use I see for him, making occasional appearances off the bench to give others a rest.
Surely nobody's going to want to sign him as a left back?

Neat but negative and safe. He can't receive the ball and turn. Plays it the way he is facing which is often backwards which kills our momentum going forward. Defensively he is clueless, ball watches, loses his man, doesn't close his man down, stands off his man.
Worst of all he forces Binks out of position, and leaves Binks between a rock and a hard place.
Why oh why did we give him that contract? All the above was there to see last season, a defensive liability

He's been crap but my mind boggles as to why we went in for him in the first place, He is just too small, teams target him. He doesn't have any outstanding attributes to mask it. So he gets bullied. So many mistakes. Needs rid asap.
Same goes for Collins. As much as I liked Adi some of his Chelsea old boys were proper gash
If anyone scouted him and watched him play I can't understand how he was given a contract. His reading of the game is very poor he doesn't get tight to his man and going forward he doesn't take on his man constantly passing back or inside rather than using the space and crossing in a ball. Our worst signing in a long time

He's more use as a winger than a WB or LB, as he simply can't defend.
I think he made some sense as a free signing, but he's never going to be good enough for a top 6 side.
I'd put him in the same category as Allen and Tavares. As in needs offloading.
