It's the man who sits below the scoreboard when they sing it he stands on his chair and starts a song

I'm guessing relating to the whole darts thing where a guy got kicked out as everyone was chanting Jesus at him and it distracted the darts player and last nigh they found someone who looked like Jesus in amongst the cov fans

Yeah, he's my mate, and he hates doing it.
I make a point of starting it to annoy him.

Same here. I normally sit in the Telegraph stand so it was new to me too. It also made the wife laugh so it must have been funny!

Well it'd be nice to see some other fans joining in with the singing once in a while, instead of berating the players that do well..

Usually the loudest of the songs start from 'Jesus' with everyone going quiet its the best way to start a song!

I think it's sad that so many people on here seem to have no idea about this...'Jesus' is at the centre of the crowd that creates the only area of atmosphere within the stadium...people have been going to the Ricoh for years without noticing??? You might as well have been going to the cinema...

There's a guy who stands in block 15 with long brown hair and last season some witty fella decided to make the comparision to Jesus, now every game it is considered highly amusing and original to chant "Jesus give us a song" at him.

I hardly manage to get to Ricoh and even I know who he is! And as if someone has actually had the nerve to say singers corner doesn't sing! It's the only part of the fucking ground that does sing!

I know a better Jesus at work. He is into heavy rock and art. He hates attention so I am tempted to bring him in to block 15 for a bit of sport.

If you want a Jesus we've got one to spare?

He was one of the people that invaded the pitch towards the end of last season.got wrestled to the ground by a load of stewards on the pitch and man handled out of the Ricoh.obviously didn't get a ban.

It's harmless banter ... but I do wish occasionally he would start something different to LAST

To be fair he does vary the songs a bit. Last season he started singing the alphabet song which was pretty funny. Suspect he's an unwilling participant but takes it in good humour . I thought after his pitch invasion last year he was going to get a haircut and sit somewhere else and pretend Jesus got banned. . Fair play to him. Like the mad hatters its good to have a few characters in the crowd

Can't remember which game it was, maybe Sheff Utd(?), where 3 guys in block 15 were wearing the female pink scarves and hats and it was changed to 'gayboys give us a song' . That tickled me.

Not seen them back since though?

It's our first season in block 15 after being in the Premier CLub seats for years, being in that area is great fun and hope others who sat there on Thursday will agree.
Jesus standing up and trying to balance is alway fun, he does it all in good fun.
The left side v right side is also a bit of added fun (although left is better. Lol).

Anyone who has yet to experience the singers corner should do so, some great banter and some real genuine supporters, a lot of who we see at most away games.

The horn, hope that comes out again, as any noise is added laughs.

it's starting to get a bit annoying when people talk about the 'lack' of noise coming from singers corner. Atleast we give it a go and are in fact, often loud. the reason you can't hear the jesus song is because it isn't sung for long and by fewer people in order to initiate a song in a slightly humerous way. Keep going singers corner :claping hands:

I was thinking that, but I don't think it's called that for that reason though. I could be wrong.
