We seem to be wishing all managers of teams in and around us to leave their posts. To be honest I don't care about them and what they do,the only concern for me is that Mowbray could be lured away,as he is doing a great job here and with him in charge it's upwards we go !

This is Coventry City though and we've spent half of our lives hoping other teams lose in order to save us, so it's sort of in our make-up I guess.

Some thing just feels right this season. Other years this would have been us losing our manager. It just seems like everything is going our way

Neither Walsall nor Burton will turn into bad teams overnight. As posted earlier, let's just focus on us and the rest will take care of itself.

Yes he has gone.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is to become QPR's manager, interim boss Neil Warnock said after Nedum Onuoha sealed victory at Reading. Warnock said Thursday's match was his last in charge, with Burton Albion boss Hasselbaink his replacement.

Think it reflects so well on Burton that there choice of manager allows them to take such opertunities this is a team that was a big rival to the Boro for years that's now on the brink of the championship..... Will they sustain it this season? They might, they might not the problem hey have along with Walsall is the fact former managers might pinch players or bigger clubs such as ourselves might come in for a player or too!

My impression of Burton is that it is a smaller place than Northampton, on a par with Rugby or Yeovil, I don't think they will sustain this level of success for an awful long time, but they have done well to get where they are today. They have to get another manager now and JFH is believed to be taking a couple of players from the Burton squad to QPR, window opens in a couple of weeks.

Walsalls top striker Tom Bradshaw out for a few weeks with an ankle injury. Doesnt look good for them at the moment and perhaps this is going to beour season

Steve Clarke sacked by Reading!
Bet he wished he took the Fulham job now!

Hopefully Reading don't come looking around these parts for a new boss!

Agree with this 100%. If they tail off, fair enough, let's take a leaf out of TM's book and focus on the task in hand. I doubt he's losing sleep over Walsall and Burton, tbh.

It better be as I have been 100% sure we'll win the league since the start of the season so its going to be a big shock to my system if it doesn't come to pass. Plus I've already spent my £250 winnings from my £10 stake at the start of the season.

I think it's between us and Wigan for the title.

Peterborough and Millwall closest behind.

Nigel Clough has previous experiance at Burton. Not sure how the fans felt about him joining Derby but would be a good signing. Possibly Mark Cooper in the running too? Whatever happens, they need someone good

Wigan look really strong after a poor start they are a serious danger to our title this season still think Burton are over achieving as well as the gills but walsall look strong also. I think it's between us and walsall Wigan for automatic promotion. What a season so far been a great ride
