As we're busy backslapping all the players, JOB has had some stick by some that see him as a headless chicken. That was some play for the opening goal, tenacious to win the ball, drove forward into space and that pass was sublime, absolutely perfect to Armstrong. Well done Jimbo.

I have not been his biggest fan and never felt he better than average but today, playing out of position he was excellent...tenacious in the tackle, good tracking back, great pass for goal. TM gave him a job and he carried it out brilliantly.

I thought he was one of the only players to come away with any credit last season. Like you say, that whole play for the first goal from him was fantastic. I also liked how fluid the top 4 were, continuously switching around.

He has been a headless chicken. Today he wasn't.

Simple really.

And yes, I am a fan of his.

Genuinely think he was frustrated with the mediocrity that surrounded him on the pitch last season.

Decent player obviously.

I thought to myself today one of SP`s excellent signings. A grafter, passionate and gives his all and willing to give bollockings to others.
Shame he is a Scot. :D

I like him, but must admit when I saw him line up on the left today and he attempted his first pass early on, I did begin to worry. Thinking he only has a right foot and him being on that side wasn't going to work. But it did.

And what a difference him not having the armband made!

Never been a fan but today was one of his best games as he didn't waste energy charging around like a madman and the ball through was excellent

Sometimes the workers try and do too much when things aren't going right. Football is about 11 players, a unit. If you have too many weak links nobody looks good.

The good thing about TM is he gives players a specific role, even the experienced players will have a focus. I think O'Brien benefited from this.

Last season I felt he was one of the few people giving up movement off the ball. Today Armstrong gave him the movement which brought the first goal.

You're right Jackson is only 5ft 8, nouble is 6ft 3, where's JOB is 5ft 11.
