Sad news.

Former England and Tottenham striker Jimmy Greaves is in intensive care after suffering a severe stroke on Sunday.

My favourite ever player and had the privilege of meeting him a few years back. Didn't know about this till I noticed the thread. I follow him on twitter so I'll send his family a message.

loved S&G, great duo back in the day. Although i did love Skinner and Badiels pisstake of them on fantasy league

I don't think there is any doubt about it. One of those players who you just knew would make something happen every time he got the ball anywhere near the goal. Such a shame he never got to play in the 1966 World Cup final.
