clearly still struggling with his groin. Why did Mowbray risk bringing him on against West Ham? Groin injuries need time to heal and Jones has not been given that.

hence why he didn't play today

Anyone with a brain cell could see he wasn't fit when he came on the midweek game. Mowbray persisted in playing him then Tuesday night a nothing game and comes on when winning.

Clearly the effects of Tuesday took its toll and that's why he didn't play today. Which game was more important?

Jodie Jones was brought on v Bury and was holding his groin from the minute he came on, clearly not fit and a candidate for a long lay off, why ? Mowbray is risking being down to 10 men should all our subs be used up and any player with an iffy groin issue isn't going to be that effective is he, an experienced manager !!!

Is the problem with Jodi being so inexperienced that he doesn't know his body yet, and convinces TM he can play when he shouldn't be on the park?

Players are supposed to have a fitness test before every game. More mismanagement by Mowbray?

Maybe he did have a fitness test and passed, or bluffed a pass. Maybe he was thought to be fit and tweaked it as soon as he came on. But it's easier to blame the manager without knowing any facts, so I'll jump on that bandwagon.

the times i've seen Jones play this season highlights one major thing to me,
the referees, particularly that arsole at swindon, let defenders get away with attempted gbh on Jones,
a mate of mine @ the swindon game watched in disbelief as 3 or 4 of their defenders tried & partially succeeded in kicking 7 bells out of him & said 'is this bloke f***ing real or what, one things for sure he aint fit to referee'
whilst they continue to issue cards for trivial offences & ignore attempted thuggery the game will never get better

Hate to say it but I think he needs a couple of weeks out.
In order to get himself completely fit.
We desperately need him though. Would just hate to see him out for 2-3 months

I can sense a possible SISU lawsuit ...

imho, gaz,of course,
i would support a lawsuit against the referees & their totally inconsistent interpretations of fa directives
