JJ will have 2 major problems

1. Confidence that is knee is now fixed
2. Has his pace and Agility remained

These are both big issues - and if resolved - excellent
if not, we may already have seen the best of him

Fingers crossed

Aren't they one and the same?
And if the rumours are true, do you think I should remove his poster from the spare bedroom?

i dont expect to see JJ until January time in the first team setup! I think they will nurse him very gently into fitness, I surprised Max is so far ahead to be honest and really needs to be careful

his Instagram suggests he might be getting a run out for the u23s today....

Edit: Not in the squad, may be that he's back in the training fold.

It's strange really, it felt like he was rushed back last time but hasn't there been an even smaller gap this time?

Could be anything though with long term injuries like that, could be that it was not quite as bad as the first time or that its simply healing quicker. Even if he's back training I'd expect another 2 months or so till he's up to full speed L1 football

I think that's right about St George's
He made his first come back in August last year
INTERVIEW: Jodi Jones Reflects On Road To Recovery
His first ACL was at Stevenage towards the end of November 2017 and he suffered the 2nd on 23rd November 2018
The club are taking no chances this time

I love Jodi Jones - to see him back later this season would be sensational and uplifting for the team and the fans.
Best of luck JJ - you are an absolute star. 1,000% behind you.

ACLs aren’t as career threatening as they use to be, but they do require lengthy recuperation periods as we have seen with JJ and Max upto a year, I can’t remember reading exactly what JJs injury was, was it a reacurrance of the old one, a complication or something else, medial ligament for example, Still getting him back fit and upto speed will be like signing a new player, the thought of him fully fit and linking with Godden and O’Hare is potentially awesome.

It's completely different taking a shot into an empty net with nobody else there to having full backs trying to snap you.

The camera angle is deceiving, He was only 2 foot away from the goal.
Baka tried it and missed!

Anyone can hit one lucky shot into the corner - what's really impressive about the first video is that he's placing the ball in exactly the same spot time and time again. I don't know how long he continues to do this - the video is really long and I stopped watching after 5 minutes.

I was thinking the same thing - also the bloke who keeps passing him the ball should be in the midfield on Saturday - his pass completion % is amazing

I’m sure the ACL is repaired with some of the hamstring on some people not sure on JJ but surely that will effect his pace if so.

Mentally last time we heard he didn’t like to put a challenge in in training & we could see he wasn’t mentally right now he’s done it again I think it will be a while until we see him

He came back too soon last time
Nobody's fault, he was desperate to play and the club wanted him back ASAP
He was never 100% right though so that would affect anyone's confidence in the same circumstances
