If we are serious about promotion next season we need to go all out and sign john proven goal scorer at this level and if the two Thomases continue to develop next season then we should score enough goals to be challenging

I like your thinking but john akinde will need a sizeable fee to prize away from Barnet. I think your talking 350/400k upwards for him as he's contracted till 2019.

In all honestly I think realistically we're gonna be looking at frees not fees as players like akinde will take too much of our budget to free up to pay fees for players like we did with Turnbull and JJ.

We're more likely to be looking at players like Chris Dagnal.

"if the two Thomases continue to develop next season" they will be sold to the first bidder...Sad but true

Why will they be sold to the first bidder?

Willis and Stevenson weren't

I think it's inevitable Willis, Harries and Stevenson will be sold. Turnbull could well too to add to the playing budget that will need to be sauced from somewhere if like the fans predict will stay away.
I don't really see any other player having any great value to be sold other than Reid who my be given a free to get him off the wage bill as he may be one of our higher earners with Turnbull... I'm guessing there tho.

I don't doubt that players will be sold to balance the budget.
It's inevitable and an acknowledged policy.

What I was reacting to was "sold to the first bidder"

We don't have to make things up.

The only thing SISU will be serious about is for the club to break even after costs, including the money they pay on the SISU loans. They can probably keep this model going for another 12-18 months before running out of City assets. Next year will see us humbled by the likes of Forest Green Rovers, and struggling mid-table. Anybody who thinks otherwise is wishing thinking.

If Fisher is still here and still pulling the strings our recruitment will be exactly the same as next season as this and previous seasons, half a dozen loans some short contract hopefuls and early chances for some youth squad players. Fishers policy is to have as few players on longish contracts as possible, so difficult to develop a decent team with that policy.

very sorry for not being totally correct with my comment ....sounds like you've more upset about this than you are with the Club being deconstructed by these half wits..... anyway sorry I upset you ffs
