Now 5/2 second favourite! I wouldn't mind this at all, but where did that come from? Not even heard any speculation and suddenly listed.

I had strong info before Pressley was appointed that it was him or Paul Ince so I had 25 quid on @ 25/1 and his odds went into 2/1 then 1/4 lol

I can't see it, but if we are going down this route,, i would prefer Wise and Hignett as 1st team coach till the end of the season..

I really do not fancy John Hartson. Unproven, never strikes me as the brightest spark on the BBC. MUCH rather Mowbray.

He's very articulate to be fair and a thoroughly decent bloke

If he's been staying In a Hotel in the area recently that's no surprise as he has plenty of friends/contacts In the area and does a lot of work with Local Charities
I'd wager these are more likely reasons for him being In the area than rocking up at CCFC IMO

Coventry City fans tune into BT Sport (now) as managerial candidate John Hartson is one of the pundits, he's sure to be asked about the job

Those going on about we shouldn't try unprovern managers should remember we are near bottom of division three a little lower when the unprovern Jimmy Hill was appointed ! It is at this level new to management personel start their careers.

I seen him once on the garage on the a45 just before the Meriden turning when going towards Brum! He was filling up his car, I was filling up mine. True story!

FFS SW88, calm down mate. That's a f*&king mental story.

It's just the way you told it that had me 'Lol'ing' all over the place

I wouldn't be against Hartson. Was a striker for one (and a good one at that), so maybe we'd have a bit more about us going forward. He clearly has contacts in the game, and seems to be well respected. A decent analyst, too, compared to a lot of pundits.

Actually, what about a Hartson and Whelan management team? They'd kick seven shades of sh*t out of anyone that didn't meet the expectations.

Hartson and Di Canio double act. That would liven up the half time team talks.
