You sure you're not judging him on his early Watford days? Yes 15 goals is good, but that is league two, look at how baker struggled with the stepping up a league. He's more of a box to box midfielder so not really an ideal replacement for a deep lying playmaker.

I would bring in O'Toole, can pass the ball and can tackle, also brings a goal or two..

He's not a bad midfielder would work well playing along side john fleck
