It would show him to be a bit of a hypocrite if he ends up at Sunderland. By all means chase the money its a short career but, like Fleck before him, he has made a point of leaving to play at a higher level, however 3 places in the league table isn't that.
I agree with this. Whilst it really pisses me off he'll be joining a league rival, in reality, if I had to bet on who would be going up first, they are better placed to. So, whilst he won't be playing at a higher level immediately, he has still (in my opinion) increased his likelihood of playing at a higher level in the very near future, and he'll be on more money. I don't like it one bit, and on a personal level hope he has misjudged the situation, but from a logic point of view, I completely understand it.Maybe he thinks he has a better chance of reaching that next stage with Snderland? They throw a lot of money around, he'll be on a lot more money, better facilities, or maybe it was paper talk and nobody wanted him from the championship. They play some dreadful football though.
Nice and rational. He can go fuck himself if he goes there, Judas so much for a ‘higher level’
They were right about BurgeWhere has this all come from anyone? Just rumours off their forum?

By All accounts he's trained with a few championship clubs and ended up back in the same league as us. Good luck to him but Championship clubs clearly didn't think that much of him or they'd have taken him on. Houses are cheaper in Sunderland too.
That he is still shitWow wonder what the Burge haters think about this if it happens
How's the move gone for Lee? Has he settled in well up north? Send him our regards.Wow wonder what the Burge haters think about this if it happens
No idea. Just think it’s funny that managers think he’s worthy of a contract at a club like Sunderland. And you lot think he’s no better than non leagueHow's the move gone for Lee? Has he settled in well up north? Send him our regards.
To be fair Pete, he's been at a few other clubs who've not thought that he's worth signing and then he's ended up at sunderland. Its not like they've pulled out all of the stops to get him. He was supposed to be going to a higher league according to some reports and rumours but it never happened. No idea. Do Sunderland have more than 1 manager then? Robins didn't think he was worthy of a contract and ill take that opinion thanksNo idea. Just think it’s funny that managers think he’s worthy of a contract at a club like Sunderland. And you lot think he’s no better than non league

He means BurgeThat's not true though is it. Robins has been fairly open in saying that we offered Jordan a deal but his agent made it clear they weren't signing.
Honestly, the bitterness towards Sunderland is pathetic.
This is a rumour, right? Why are people getting so worked up about it? Don’t give yourself an aneurysm until it actually happens.
FFS I thought we were bitching about Willis :bag:He means Burge
