Like I said, I can forgive but I won't forget.Despite the despicable choices made and the pain SISU caused until ~2017, at some point we all have to move on and acknowledge that bar some poor decisions around investment (e.g. this January), their club management has been largely pretty stellar in comparison with the vast majority of league clubs in this country.
I'm sure it's naive of me, but I have been genuinely impressed by how she has spoken, been more visible (which is clearly against her instincts), and her apparent knowledge of footballing matters in the last few years.
Give her a chance - we don't have any choice and it will most likely benefit both parties.

No, what lessons have been learnt?I'm not saying the sun shines out of her arse, but come on man start to get over it. Its not healthy.
Pre 2017, utter scum
Post 2017, lessons learnt
Surely fair?
Concerning lolWhat's so good about it?
She wouldn't give so much as an interview because she refused to be held accountable for her consistent wrongdoings over the years. Now that the club is in a positive position her attendance has become more regular. Funny that.
She isn't a fan at all and it's concerning if fans actually believe that.
Better days interesting opinion given his inside knowledge wouldn’t you say??I couldn't care less whether she attends or not, I just find it absurd that fans seem to insist on suggesting it's a good thing when in the grand scheme of things it's utterly irrelevant.
Their most successful period has been driven by the fact they've avoided interfering in club related matters.
The fact they still sustain us by injecting high interest loans in the club also permanently relies on Robins overachieving year on year. Highly convenient fans seem to forget this.
Any comments on better days opinion?I think someone’s been on tbe Stella

They seem to think so and they’re closer than you or iNot really as nothing has changed in terms of their overall objectives has it?
They seem to think so and they’re closer than you or i
No he’s not. Course he’s not.I don’t think they are falsifying accounts and I don’t think the strategy has changed
he’s only looking at the actual results on the pitch
No he’s not. Course he’s not.
We're coming up to 15 years since she took control. In that time there have been 2 moves out of the city, 2 relegations, 2 promotions, the relationship with the fans going toxic and then returning through the other side. Financially speaking she is still jacking high interest loans on the club and keeping us dependent on Robins' working miracles on a tight budget each season. The squad was not strengthened in January despite it crying out for reinforcements in a small number of positions.
7.5% for an unsecured loan is not excessive.
Giving interviews to kids and showing up to games is all well and good but don't let it distract you from the picture behind the scenes.
Dunno ask himSo what’s changed in the overall strategy regarding the way the club operates than aside from on the pitch
There is no inward investment, no outward investment, current investors are a priority - no change there
You can’t ignore the fact that even in the halcyon days of success there was a plan to move the club out of the City again with no assurance it would ever return. That’s hardly a “good” plan whichever way you
Cut it
All the financial elements will remain unchanged regardless of the football performance
Agreed. Things have improved and SISU's stewardship is better than their attempts to just steamroller people into submission and taking fans for granted. We're coming up to 15 years since she took control. So's the tea lady, the kitman and the security guards. Does that mean you expect them to have an in depth knowledge of the club's business strategy and an expert understanding of it?They seem to think so and they’re closer than you or i
Any comments on better days opinion?
Changing their minds about moving us out of the City twice? Hmmmm….It's amazing how many people on here are dead set in not changing their minds.
Is that trueThere is no inward investment, no outward investment,
I’m not a Joy fan. But surely being at the match is a sign that she is ‘Doing the right thing’. Whatever her reasons, she turned up. However, she Is still responsible for when we went out of the cityI couldn't care less whether she attends or not, I just find it absurd that fans seem to insist on suggesting it's a good thing when in the grand scheme of things it's utterly irrelevant.

Not my area of expertise so apologies if I am not using the correct terminology…but aren’t we making losses every year still and they are plugging the gap/covering the shortfall? Does that not count as investment? Serious question…even if they log it as a loan that’s still investment no?In the MR 2nd spell to 31 may 2021 net investment was minus 50k. Details are from the published financials
Would think she was here for something more important an u16 match. If she went to watch then great but I don't really care if she does or doesn't go. I doubt her presence or not at any match really changes the direction she wants to go with club. It never has
Personal opinion is I will enjoy what the ccfc teams are doing, not going to read much in to the owner turning up or use it to justify actions or attachments or change of heart Unless you know her very well you are not going to know one way or the other.
Better days interesting opinion given his inside knowledge wouldn’t you say??
We were the only show out of town. Were the insects here when we were moved to Northampton ?
For some it may be too much to forgive but if they keep around the big 3 and invest imo they have earnt some form of forgivenessIt's amazing how many people on here are dead set in not changing their minds.
There are some half-decent websites that would point him in the right direction. Is it really all that interesting? It's just a glass half full approach. I very much doubt he has direct access to Joy.
Completely agreeI'm not holding a grudge.
No one wanted what happened and for a while we were comfortably the worst club to support in England.
However, I had some of the best days supporting Coventry in League 1 and 2 and appreciate being a Championship club more than ever. I've moved on.
Coventry City Council and Wasps however...
Or is it accumulation of debt? Not my area of expertise so apologies if I am not using the correct terminology…but aren’t we making losses every year still and they are plugging the gap/covering the shortfall? You have no idea though and as someone who knows a lot it’s very interesting and I wonder why his opinion has changed and what he means by making all the right movesIs it really all that interesting? It's just a glass half full approach. I very much doubt he has direct access to Joy.
