We was talking about this earlier and the thoughts are bakayoko won’t play much of a part now due to he won’t be able to play along side Chaplin and he’s simply not good enough and may end up on loan in January.Gutted if true, would rather Bakayoko go out on loan than this talented youngster!

Agree with this. Saw the season long loan bit and thought 'what if he's banging them in and we have an injury's but if there's a recall option, then fine.Will do him and us good. He needs game time. I think he'll score goals and could well be in and around our team in January.

I really wouldn't suggest that's the case at all. You physically cannot make such a judgement after 4/5 games
Some could have told you just by his name4/5 games? Some could have told you that just by his picture on the official apparently.
Hope he tears it up there. Interesting thought: is Ponticelli to us what Chaplin was to Pompey? Great goal-to-minutes ratio, One Of Our Own, rarely given a start let alone a run of games, sometimes played out wide...I do wonder if we could have saved ourselves half a million quid by giving him a chance?
JP is a few years younger though, so has time to develop and come back stronger hopefully.
If Chaplin does well here, I’d be very surprised to see Ponticelli return.I hope he learns his trade gets 20 goals and comes back next season and gets a regular spot in our team
