Another excellent duel. Clive Eakin just can't get the better of him. Is our broadcaster simply playing devil's advocate because if you do that you have to be able to take what comes your way and he can't take it. I don't think he is. Sounds as though he simply wants confrontation. He still can't accept Pressley has gone.
eakin has a totally different view from all of the professionals who sit as co commentator - but when they are sat next to him, he doesnt say a word to disagree with them
I really like Juggy especially in the Wheatsheaf having a beer or three before the match.Only thing is you struggle to get a word in except when it's your round !
What always amuses me about Clive Eakin is the fact that you can almost hear his hackles rising before he replies to some callers. And he tries soooo hard to not bite, but you just know he's about to - poor man just can't stop himself. Thought he was playing devil's advocate just for the sake of it when he was arguing that he didn't think it was inevitable SP would have to go.
My vote for biggest bell end goes for Poole with Eakin a close second, Linnell seems to have changed his veiw point over the last few weeks and for the better (a bit)[h=2][/h]

Can't diagree with that. Poole is the biggest twat I know. Eakin second with linell third. But it's like choosing between which shit smelt the worst. Well they all smell.
That phone in was comedy gold. Pissing myself at Nigel from Festival Island (is he stuck in traffic there?). I like Juggy but he lost his argument when he implied that his opinion was more valid because he pays for his ticket.
I haven't heard the phone in yet but from the gist of this thread, I agree with what I assume was Juggy's point of view.
If my living was being paid to watch and comment on the City, my opinions after yet another poor performance or defeat wouldn't be as scathing as it would if I'd paid to watch it, or taken time off work. I'll believe a supporter's opinion over a paid journalist's opinion every day of the week.
