sorry cov fans , good turn out by your fans who heeded advice and drank in the right pubs , rose of denmark , cottage etc , but thought we were deffo the better side especially the 2nd half
What great support we gave the team today, we gave it our all:claping hands:...
Shame we didn't score (apart from the own goal). Back to the drawing board it is then. It has to be said well done to BC for getting 6 pts over the last two games - we on the other hand really need to pull out all the stops now.
I'm sure that bloody M5 was longer on the way back...
SKY BLUE ARMY...
They'll be down next year if they don't improve. I thought they were poor for most of the game and we let them off the hook massively.
Also thought though, that they played the conditions much better than us - particularly second half.
Both fans quiet in 2nd half werent they - think everyone felt the nerves.
being slated by dive dive for giving my opinion , well well , didnt see any sign of all your fans in the home end and also drinking in our pubs like some on your forum were spouting off about
Just got back from one of the coaches Gary laid on-top marks to him for organising it. We were held up for 40 minutes after the game by police not letting the coaches out which added insult to a thoroughly disappointing display from the City. I think we were poor all game long, launching aimless balls to Platt for 90 minutes which just patently were never going to work; Bristol were hardly an impressive outfit themselves but won through some shocking naivete at the back. Brizzle fans leaving when their team was 2-1 up was most puzzling-if we go down, I'll count it as a saving grace that I don't have to return to Ashton Gate-what an absolutely terrible stadium. Do appreciate the advice from Brizzle fans on the pubs and cider though-couple of pints of Thatchers in the RoD went down nicely! I'm drenched and I'm pissed off, but I'm proud of everyone else who came down today and sang their hearts out-well done boys
WTGR, we've got 14 out of contract in the summer and a huge rebuilding job is imminent. Wether that is in the NPC or L1 is still to be decided but Del McInnes is a canny manager and we will be alot stronger next year.
I believe it's the fact that so many players know they're leaving that has caused our awful season, they generally don't give a shit!
no problem divedive , also brighton sky blue people arnt leaving they just go to the bottom of the stand and get near the pitch as the dolman stand can take 20 mins to get out of at the best of times
The ground as a whole did nothing for me EastEnder-just be sure that the transition goes more like Brighton to the Amex than us to the Ricoh, it's been a millstone around the club's neck ever since we moved into it.
Your Manager is canny? You having a joke. His out of his depth in this league.
I know exactly what you mean Brighton. Our planning battles seem to be mirroring Brighton to the extent that their cheif exec came up to Bristol and spoke on our behalf to confirm planning permission. Just the small matter of a village green review to sort and we are ready to start.
The Gate is a bit tired and we need to move but it's home atm and we love the place for all it's little quirks.
He took over when we were 10 points behind the fourth bottom side and now we are 4 points above the drop zone. He isn't doing too badly for someone 'out of his depth' then.
It will be worth it eventually if you pull it off the right way-it's a new lease of life for BHA and their good season this year is due to it in no small part. Ashton Gate is just dated-the sooner you move all the better. With regard to McInnes, I'd throw in Portsmouth's points deduction and our own horrendous off-field issues as the reasons you'll secure safety this season. A CCFC with even a slither of investment would've presented much tougher opposition this afternoon; no hard feelings anyway, you only play who's put in front of you.
Whats the capacity of this new stadium?
I agree, they were the better of two poor sides.Bristol were the better team, because we conceded so much possession...they were clearly the better team and deserved the win. End of.

Looks very nice, better than a concrete bowl look. Yep, quite like that.30K Derby. It was going to be extended to 47K for the WC and then removed again.
Here it is if you want to have a look....

Looks nice - I bet the tickets won't be a tenner when you move
Ha ha! I can think of 92 Million reasons why they won't be a tenner too.
