I understand the grief and the anger. The plane was obviously a wreck and the pilot an incompetent fool

Why go on it though. Once at work I had to do an internal flight in Africa and I checked the rather odd airline I was booked with and it was horrific. So I changed it with the work travel company to an established airline

He could have booked a flight himself

I still don't get why he got on it after telling everybody how bad it was on the way over?

Footballers never make decisions and it’s been that way for years - it’s all arranged - one player who’d never been abroad on a personal basis went with no passport as he didn’t know it would be at the airport

One ex ccfc player when getting off the train to sign terms was perplexed as we didn’t have an underground system to take him to Highfield Road

Should make that a quiz question actually

Which ex player assumed every city has an underground network?

They never think it's going to happen to them.
It goes for many areas in life.
John F. Kennedy Jr. another classic example.
