If she had any intention of speaking to fans she would of by now
I hope this is followed up with a protest outside Coventry City Council's offices and / or the registered offices of ACL.
'Hell' and 'freezes over' springs to mind.
The ACL/CCC apologists will never arrange anything along those lines as that'd mean they'd partly blame someone other than the current owners.

Fernando, this is a point raised regularly on here. London and Jimmy's Hill take up all the available time I have so it really needs someone to step up to the plate to do what you hope for. There are a number of different posters who raise this so surely it wouldn't be difficult to get a small group together to organise it
True Michael, but isn't that what your organisation and the Trust is for, to Keep Cov in Cov, etc etc? Do you feel then that ACL have absolutely nothing to do with helping the club get back to Coventry? Do you think that only lobbying SISU outside their empty office will help the Club achieve the goal of getting back to the Ricoh?
Your "do it yourself" attitude reminds of why I left Unison. A few years ago we were having a shitty time at work and had to apply for our own jobs. Our organisation were also cutting costs and closing sites. We asked the union to do what was being done in other areas of the country where Unison was being very proactive. The response from Warwickshire Unison was "we are a member led union" so you'll have too organise something yourself because we've decided not to hold any protests outside Shire Hall, etc etc. Makes you wonder what you pay your subs for doesn't it? I decided not to pay mine. And I've decided NOPM to the Trust or yourselves again too.
Easy to solve, just do nothing and keep your mouth shut, leave it to those who care. Don't knock those who want to try.
Just said this to someone else, why not ask them?
What exactly then would we be protesting about?

the most pertinent point of your post is that they still haven't made the reduced rent offer to otium. This alone is a reason for an ACL protest.Over-charging the club for years - a rent in excess of £1 million for partial use of a facility 25 times a year was obscene.
Agreeing a deal for SISU to buy CCC's stake in ACL (a good deal for everyone) only to run away from that deal for political and ideological reasons.
Forcing the administration process citing a bluff by TF about liquidation, suggesting they were doing it 'for the good of the club'. They were doing it purely out of self-interest. Fine. Admit it you bunch of clowns.
Feeding the media bullshit and spin, and making empty gestures like the 'play for free' offer to the administrator when they knew he was in no position to make that decision.
Launching legal action against NTFC. Pointless. An embarrassment quite frankly.
Rejection of the CVA for absolutely no benefit to anyone.
Still refusing to acknowledge that Otium (like it or not) are the legal and rightful owners of the football club.
And given the above, they have still not made the reduced rent offer directly to Otium - prolonging this nightmare for all of us.
But yeah, nothing to protest about is there?
I worry about some people.

Template response....
Sisu are no victims but the message that's being peddled is Kcic, ACL are in a position to make an offer to otium, why have they not done this?Worry not about me....but just to rebalance this thread to remove the notion that poor SISU are victims- this is a repost so apologies to those who might have read before
I just don't buy SISU tried to do a deal reference the rent reduction prior to completion of sale- couldn't, so bought CCFC anyway- this is SISU- unless they had a cunning plan?
By all accounts in the intervening years; yes they have tried to renegotiate the rent, and as I have stated before I do have more than a degree of understanding and empathy with that position- they are right to do so- 100%. £1.2m in the championship and now league 1 is a ridiculous fee-and this is for me the only question ACL have to answer, but equally ACL have a business model geared around that original assumption and so? Continued negotiations are the way forward are they not?
Where SISU fall over though in my mind is in CEASING payment- end of, finito. That's not right- never in a million years is that right and proper, at a business level or other... and the Judicial Review verdict agrees- let’s just do that again- a Judicial review concludes that SISU acted Illegally in withholding rent.
As a consequence we are where we are- it is that straw that breaks the back of any morality backed conscience in support of a SISU position that might linger in my mind. In my humble opinion-SISU withheld funds to distress ACL such that a fire-sale was the inevitable consequence- CCC bailed ACL- SISU JR failed- and now we are at Northampton.
Well done Tim.ointlaugh:
:blue:
Still see SISU as victims?- please demonstrate to us all where ACL or any other stakeholder has acted ILLEGALLY....?

yep agreed the JR is a major hindrance, if an offer was made though we would all know for sure where we stand. Why do you say it should be exclusive from the trust?. Don't disagree just would like to know your reasons.I agree.. by all accounts they have stated to the SBT that they want to talk- but I would advocate that they do this exclusive from the SBT- any press announcement doesn't have to state terms and conditions just that they will talk.. that said I suspect that the reconvened Judicial Review as commisisoned by Otium casts a long shadow?
You are so right yours is
Must we persist in sending 5 people to London every few weeks?
Sorry, was on my phone. It was just the typical "Well you aren't doing anything so you have no opinion" type response. I think more and more people are calling for action against all parties who may be able to make the difference. I am not saying who have all the blame, but who can make decisions and bring the club back.
