Richard Keogh awarded £2.3m in breach of contract case against Derby
Richard Keogh has secured a payout of about £2.3m from Derby after winning his long-running compensation claim against the clubwww.theguardian.com
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but a tidy sum!
ThisNot really any good guys in this story
Exactly this. If they'd sacked all of them they'd have an argument but only sacking the one who they perceived to have no value and whose wage they wanted off the books was poor to say the least.Good. They had absolutely no case to sack him whatsoever, particularly as they didn't sack the 2 more guilty parties.
Makes the wages of some Premeir League players look reasonableI think it says more about the over inflated pay in the Championship when a player of Keogh’s (lack of) quality can earn that much money.
He was the scapegote in the incident, just what derby need right now.
