I know he is old now but do you think he would he be worth a 12 month contract?

He is the bully boy we need up top and would make a good impact sub also?

Too old & probably still after more money than we've got to offer....and hes been settled in Lancashire for about 15 years now, so unless he retires completely, I'd expect him to sign for one of the many teams from the North-West in L1

Absolutely not. Davies works well in teams who are hoping to avoid relegatation just like Bolton were because he can hold up the ball well and win easy fouls because of his physical attributes. Apart from that he doesn't offer much and if he was 5"8 he probably would have been a league 2 player all his career.

He is definitely not the answer to getting out of this league.

You know how many goals he got last season?! That would be the 1! No prizes for guessing who it was against! Too old, not good enough anymore, in my opinion.

Absolutely fantastic player and very underrated. As a youngster his parents could not afford to buy him a pair of football boots, so his manager and coach bought them. As a result he has always ran schemes in the community at every club he has been at.

i think he is too old for us, unless he was brought here in another capacity and a dual role I.e as a coach or to run our community scheme.
