Why would marlon king even need go to st andrews surely thats what agents are for so footballers dont have to work out all the details off deals:facepalm:
Best possible source would be.......................Marlon himself. Would it not?? So if hes told you he was in Brum today, why insist on knowing where he is holidaying????

It is my understanding that tomorrow morning another article will likely come out in the paper which questions Marlon's possible signing at CCFC. This story, like the Sky News story today, was based on information from his representative. I want to ensure that we are always open with CCFC fans, and, in that spirit, and want to restate the facts clearly for everyone:
1. Marlon and his representative both verbally confirmed to Andy and Ken respectively that Marlon has agreed to the terms in the proposed contract and will return to CCFC next season. This is fact.
2. We choose to be public about this so that fans weren't kept in the dark
3. This is a verbal agreement and contracts must still be signed, but terms have been agreed and contract is on it's way to Marlon's representative now
4. Anything can of course happen, and Marlon can choose not to sign, however, we wanted you all to know we had agreed on terms.
Hope this helps. Didn't want anyone to be jarred again by another article that may come out tomorrow. I will say again, I think one of the big reasons that Marlon is looking at coming back is because of how welcome the fans have made him feel. A big credit and thanks is owed to all of you.
ok my sources in the club are not what they once were however I am text from a nephew of Mr Cov that this was a 100% done deal yesterday and king has been offered the best contract since we have been relegated including hughes??
Someone that didn't know marlon was on holiday even though it said it in EVERY report yesterday = either numpty or... nah, that's it, just a numpty! Ignore, of course it's BS.
Do we know when matters wil be concluded? When is marlon set to return to the UK?
The thing that baffles me, is that if Marlon is happy with the contract put in front of him. This could be sent to his holiday destination and signed by him there and then. A contract is not a deed, so it simply needs Marlon's signature.
