Agreed mate.I’d rather we focus on shifting Lati and Binks for profit.
think Kitching has much more upside than both
2+ goals conceded per game says it all
Thats been partly down to an awfull keeper.2+ goals conceded per game says it all
Not sure of the benefit on a loan. If it was a fee then ok but Blackburn don't have a pot to piss in. So they won't be buying him at the end. So the only hope is he performs well enough to get a different move, but I actually think he's the best partner for Thomas currently on our books.
He played last match and 2 goals conceded.Kitching has hardly played
Yep - will give you that. Changing from Collins to Dovin has made improvements and we even had a clean sheet or two in recent weeks. However, we cant keep conceding goals whilst our best two forwards are out injured and cant score more than we concedeThats been partly down to an awfull keeper.
Saturday would have been 4 but for Dovin.
Kitching has hardly played
For what ever reason despite shipping goals for fun Robins, Carr, and Lampard haven’t fancied Kitchin. I wouldn’t expect him therefore to be the answer. Hopefully they and I are wrong.
Would you be happy to lose a million asking for a friend? If they were gonna give us £2-3m I’d be tempted to cut our losses and let him go. But a loan doesn’t make sense to me.
He deserves more minutes anyway.
The thinking behind this is fairly simple. Kitching doesn't get a game at Coventry, subsequently his value diminishes quickly as does his match fitness. Kitching goes out on loan to Blackburn, plays games, maintains match fitness and his value stays around the same, or Kitching does brilliantly at Blackburn, his loan expires he comes back to Coventry City and his market value has increased, we then move him on for a decent fee having not paid his wages for the duration of his loan but holding onto his market value.
This is why I would be more of the idea of Kitching going out on loan far more than Binks. I look at Binks and just don't see a club playing him, unless Plymouth or Mark Robins wanted him, Binks is 2 years away from really being physically up to the standards of this division.
Hardly a significant sample sizeHe played last match and 2 goals conceded.

And he has somewhat mixed reputation off the pitch, which maybe a contributing factor as to why managers don’t play him.I don't disagree but Kitching's reputation has probably benefited from not being a team that concedes a couple of goals a game.

I guess it’s possible that FL has to get the wage bill down before he can bring in new players. If it brings in money and frees up wages to bring in what we need, happy days.

Not really a great reputation on it at the minute! And he has somewhat mixed reputation off the pitch, which maybe a contributing factor as to why managers don’t play him.
Sergio Ramos has been sent off 29 times in his career so far , that is some record. And with 206 League appearance behind him you might think he would have grown out of needless red and yellow cards? Far too unpredictable from a temperament point of view.
